Fire Fang (Japanese: ほのおのキバ Flame Fang) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation IV.

It is:

It can be thought of as a counterpart to Ice Fang and Thunder Fang, having similar names and effects.

Effect

Generation IV

Fire Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of burning the opponent. It also has an independent 10% chance of causing the target to flinch, if the user attacks before the target.

Generation V onwards

Fire Fang no longer bypasses Wonder Guard.

Fire Fang is no longer affected by King's Rock.
