Facade (Japanese: からげんき Bravado) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation III.
It is:
- TM42 from Generation III to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
- TM12 in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.
- TM39 in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
- TM025 in Generation IX.
Effect
Facade inflicts damage. Its base power doubles from 70 to 140 if the user is poisoned, paralyzed, or burned.
Generation III to V
Burn's effect of halving the damage done by physical moves is still calculated (unless the user has Guts).
Generation VI onwards
Burn's effect of halving the damage done by physical moves is now ignored when using Facade.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series
Facade deals damage. Its power is increased if the user has a bad status condition that does not prevent it from using moves (prior to Gates to Infinity, only burn and poison status conditions will power up Facade). Its power is doubled in the Rescue Team and Explorers series, and increased by 50% in Super Mystery Dungeon. In Super Mystery Dungeon, Facade also ignores the Attack drop from the Burned status condition.
