In Pokémon UNITE, Fire Blast is Charizard's second move. It is obtained by reaching level 7 as Charmeleon and upgrading Fire Spin into it instead of Flare Blitz. The user shoots a blast of fire forward while moving, exploding on the first enemy hit or after a short distance, damage enemies and leaving a fire area for 5s that deals damage over time and slows enemies within the radius. At level 13, its damage increases.

Trivia
- In Generation I, Fire Blast was the only Fire-type move that could be taught by TM.
- Its animation is based on the Daimonji of the Japanese festival Gozan no Okuribi, where a large bonfire is lit in the shape of the character 大 (meaning "big" or "great").
- A glitch sometimes occurs with this move in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 where the background fails to appear, instead showing just black.
- In Pokémon X and Y, when a Pokémon with a large hitbox (such as Rayquaza) uses Fire Blast in a battle in one of the back alleys of Lumiose City, when the camera pans backwards, it will clip through the building to the right side of the Pokémon, causing it to completely disappear momentarily.
