Trivia
- This is the first season not to feature Ash and Pikachu as main protagonists and the Team Rocket trio as main antagonists.
- The season was initially announced to be releasing in the United States and internationally on February 23, 2024,[2] but was later delayed till March 7, 2024.[3]
- Unlike previous series, the English titles of episodes follow the Japanese titles more closely, with most titles being direct translations.
- In Asian territories where The Pokémon Company holds distribution rights, this season is numbered as season 26.[4][5][6][7] However The Pokémon Company International refers to this series as a new, separate series different than the previous anime series. This includes referring to the show as the "new Pokémon animated series"[8] in pre-release material, starting the numbering from Season 1,[9] and using "Pokémon the Series" in social media material of prior episodes after this point.[10]
- This is the first season where the English dub uses different opening themes for different releases of the same episodes, with Becoming Me for the international release and We Go (English Ver.) for the Asian release.
- This is the first season promoted with more than two official posters. Each of the four posters corresponds to a batch of episodes released consecutively in March, May, August, and November 2024.
