Bianca (Japanese: ベル Bel) is a Pokémon Trainer from the Unova region.
She is a rival character in Pokémon Black and White and an Assistant Pokémon Professor to Professor Juniper in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
In the core series games
Role
Like the player, Bianca lives in the starting town of Nuvema Town, and is also a childhood friend of the player (and soon-to-be rival). Though being described as 'flighty' by Professor Juniper and Cheren, she also has a strong and determined side, which she demonstrates by embarking on a Pokémon journey despite her father's strong opposition. This is emphasized in Nimbasa City, where her father disallows her to become a Pokémon Trainer. With the help of Nimbasa City Gym Leader Elesa, Bianca convinces her father to let her follow her dream.
In keeping with the theme of truth and ideals often seen in Black and White, Bianca represents those who pursue truth—this is highlighted when N comments that Bianca had to face the truth that not everyone can become stronger. She often admits that she is not a strong Trainer compared to the player and Cheren and thinks about what she can do in life (whereas Cheren is seen to ponder about what he should do). Later in the game, she decides to research and learn more about Pokémon with Juniper. Even though she is not as strong in battles as her childhood friends, Bianca discovers that by becoming a Pokémon researcher, she too can make valuable contributions to the Pokémon world.
Like the player and Cheren, Bianca receives a starter Pokémon as a gift from Professor Juniper at the start of the game; she chooses the Pokémon with a type disadvantage to the player's starter Pokémon. The player encounters Bianca on several occasions, where she often challenges the player to a battle.
After the player has defeated Alder twice, she will be around to battle them on weekends in Nuvema Town.
In Black 2 and White 2, Bianca appears as Professor Juniper's assistant, giving the player his or her starter Pokémon. She, after not seeing him for two years, will also be reunited with Cheren in Aspertia City.
She appears several times throughout the game, generally running errands for Professor Juniper, such as looking for Tynamo in Chargestone Cave. She will accompany the player as a tag partner on the player's first visit to Reversal Mountain while she investigates the Pokémon Heatran.
She can be called on the Xtransceiver to figure out the player's current Friendship level with Pokémon in his or her party. After the player has defeated the Champion, she can also figure out whether a Pokémon in the player's party has reached its effective cap in effort values for any stat (252), or overall (510).

Bianca appears as a recurring character in the anime. She is a friendly rival of Ash and occasional traveling companion. She is clumsy and hasty, but genuinely goodhearted and cares deeply for her Pokémon and the friends she makes on her journey. Her father did not allow her to travel for some time, causing her to be slightly inexperienced for her age, but she doesn't take the opportunity for granted. She occasionally runs errands for Professor Juniper, one of which was bringing Ash his Badge case.

Bianca is a friend of both Monta and Cheren. Although not much is known about her, she is not as knowledgeable as Cheren. Her starter Pokémon was Oshawott at a type disadvantage to Monta's Snivy. She first appeared with Cheren, and after Cheren's lecture telling Monta his is inexperienced, Bianca says he said too much. She then watches Monta and Cheren battle the Biker King.

Bianca in Pocket Monsters BW: Meetings with the Legends
Bianca appeared in Pocket Monsters BW: Meetings with the Legends. She along with Cheren met up with Touya after Touya's talk with N. Bianca discussed her view on liberation in which she found it to be wrong and cried at the thought of losing her Pignite to them. She and the two boys discovered a little girl with her Minccino taken by Team Plasma. Bianca stayed behind with the girl while Touya went after the Grunts responsible for taking Minccino.
Later, after Touya defeated the two Team Plasma Grunts's Woobat and Watchog, Bianca reunited with him and received a call from Cheren via the Xtransceiver. He told her and Touya to come to the Icirrus Gym. The two went to Icirrus Gym and Cheren informed them about the situation in the Gym. Later, the four went to Dragonspiral Tower to stop N. While Touya went after N, Bianca and the others stayed behind to battle some Team Plasma Grunts who were preventing them from going after N.

Trivia
- Bianca, Cheren, and N are the only Trainers in Black and White with animated battle sprites.
- When Black and White were first released, Bianca was widely misreported to be the Champion of the Pokémon League.
- Bianca is the first rival who chooses the starter Pokémon with a type disadvantage to the player's starter Pokémon.
- Bianca is the first female rival who isn't also a player character, and the first female character to always act as a rival regardless of the player character's gender.
- In Black and White, whenever the player defeats Bianca, she always leaves in the direction that the player just came from. This is the opposite of Cheren, who always heads in the direction of the player's next objective.
- In Black and White, Bianca always defeats every Gym after the player and Cheren.
- In Black and White, if the player character manages to beat Bianca in their first battle without taking any damage, Cheren will make a note on how the player somehow won without taking any damage. As the scenario is highly unlikely to ever happen, the dialog is next to impossible to actually trigger.
