In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Roseanne debuts in the Diamond & Pearl chapter. She works as an assistant to Professor Rowan alongside Mr. Berlitz. She first appears in Well Met, Weepinbell, watching over Professor Rowan's laboratory while he and Mr. Berlitz are away. After getting frustrated from being unable to find a missing document, Roseanne goes outside to calm herself down. As she exits the building, Roseanne finds a swarm of Yanmega waiting outside.

The Yanmega begin rushing inside the building while Roseanne flees due to her fear of Bug-type Pokémon. Due to the sound caused by the flapping of the Yanmega's wings, Roseanne's voice is drowned out, preventing her from calling for help. She uses the laboratory's lights to send a message for help, which summons Diamond and Sebastian to her aid. With the help of his Lickilicky, Kit, Dia captured and destroyed a device that was sending commands to the Yanmega. With no one to command them, the Yanmega dispersed.

In the X & Y chapter, Roseanne appeared with Rowan as he informed Professor Oak that he discovered that Xerneas and Yveltal had appeared in the Kalos region.

In the Sun & Moon chapter, Roseanne was seen in a flashback giving Mr. Berlitz a Rotom meant to be delivered to Professor Kukui.
