This is a list of Pokémon by the items they may be holding when caught from the wild. If the same item is present in both the 5% (8% in Generation II games) and 50% (25% in Generation II games) listing, the Pokémon will always (100%) hold the item when encountered in the wild.
In Generation I games there are no held items; however, some Pokémon are holding an item by default when traded to a Generation II game. These items are listed under the "Gen I" header.
