It evolves from Stunky starting at level 34.
Biology
Physiology
Skuntank are medium sized mammalian Pokémon that are a dark purple with a white stripe running down their backs. Their cheeks are now not as large, resembling a cat in appearence. However, their tails are much longer and are often laid out on their backs and over their face.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Skuntank are known for their noxious fluid which not only smells dreadfully disgusting, but is possibly flammable and explosive. It can spray this fluid over 160 feet. Unlike its pre-evolution and real-life Skunks, Skuntank spray this from their tail tip instead of the base.
Behavior
It is likely that like Stunky, it uses its foul smelling spray to defend itself.
Habitat

NPC appearances
- Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2: Skuntank is the leader of Team Skull, a band of thieves. When he first appears, he uses his stench to knock out the player. With Koffing, he can perform a noxious gas combo attack, and uses that to knock out the player's team with a horrible stench several times over the course of the game, but this fails against Wigglytuff later on. Toward the end of the game when he steals the Relic Fragment, his team's lives are saved by the player's team and he gives the relic back.

Trivia
Origin
Skuntank is based on a hog-nosed skunk. Its face being cat-like is likely based off of polecat, a nickname for skunks.
Name origin
Skuntank's name appears to be a combination of tank, skunk, and stank, the past tense of stink. Skutank is the same, just with one less letter.
In other languages
- German: Skunktank
- French: Moufflair - From moufette (striped skunk) and flair (smelling).
- Korean: 스컹탱크 Seukeongtaengkeu
