Stat-enhancing item

Stat-enhancing items are held items that affect a particular stat of a Pokémon, usually only usable by one or two related Pokémon.

DeepSeaScale

• Stat enhanced: Special Defense of Clamperl
• Notes: If held by a Clamperl when it is traded, it will evolve into Gorebyss.
• Found:
  • Held by Clamperl, given by Captain Stern after Scanner event (R/S/E).
  • Held by Chinchou, Lanturn, and Relicanth (D/P)

DeepSeaTooth

• Stat enhanced: Special Attack of Clamperl
• Notes: If held by a Clamperl when it is traded, it will evolve into Huntail.
• Found:
  • Held by Clamperl, given by Captain Stern after Scanner event (R/S/E)
  • Held by Carvanha and Sharpedo (D/P)

Light Ball

• Stat enhanced: Doubles the Special Attack of Pikachu. Starting in Generation IV, it also doubles the Attack of Pikachu.
• Notes: If held by a Pikachu or a Raichu when they are bred, the Pichu that hatches will have the move Volt Tackle.
• Found:
  • Starting Pikachu from Pokémon Yellow traded into Generation II
  • Found on some wild Pikachu (R/S/E/D/P),
  • Held by a special Pikachu awarded as a prize for defeating the Pokémon Battle Revolution main game.

Lucky Punch

• Stat enhanced: Critical hit ratio of Chansey
• Found:
  • Held by Chansey (G/S/C, XD, D/P)
  • House in Sevault Canyon (FR/LG)

Metal Powder

• Stat enhanced: Defense of Ditto. Starting in Generation IV it also raises the Special Defense of Ditto.
• Found:
  • Held by Ditto (G/S/C), (FR/LG), (E), (D/P)

Quick Powder

• Stat enhanced: Speed of Ditto
• Found:
  • Held by Ditto (G/S/C), (D/P).

Soul Dew

• Stat enhanced: Special Attack and Special Defense of Latios and Latias.
• Found:
  • Latios or Latias on Southern Island (R/S/E) (event item only)

Stick

• Stat enhanced: Critical hit ratio of Farfetch'd
• Found:
  • Found on some wild Farfetch'd (G/S/C)
  • Vermilion City (FR/LG)
  • Found on some wild Farfetch'd (D/P)

Thick Club

• Stat enhanced: Attack of Cubone and Marowak
• Found:
