Vespiquen (Japanese: ビークイン Beequeen) is a dual-type Bug/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Female Combee starting at level 21.
Biology
Physiology
Vespiquen is a three-foot-tall bee Pokémon with a yellow and black striped abdomen that resembles a skirt. Her abdomen can serve as a nest for baby Combee. She has black, skinny arms with two orange claws and flies with a pair of small (compared to her body) wings on her shoulders. She has an orange face with red eyes, a red gem on her forehead and yellow and black "horns".
Gender differences
Vespiquen is female only.
Special abilities
Vespiquen has three separate signature moves that involve summoning a swarm of baby Combee, which she stores in her honeycomb-like lower abdomen. One is for attacking, the second is for defending and the third is for recovering.
Behavior
Vespiquen are queens of hives of Combee, controling it and protecting it, as well as giving birth to young Combee. A Vespiquen is far more powerful than her followers. However, if someone defends her hive and helps her, she may reward them.
Habitat
Vespiquen live in huge hives in the forests with thier Combee followers.
Diet

Vespiquen made its first appearance in An Angry Combeenation as the ruler of a huge colony of Combee.
Vespiquen appeared again in A Trainer and Child Reunion! under Aaron's ownership.

Origin
Vespiquen is based on queen bees and beehives, along with a combination of real queens.
Name origin
Its name is derived from the words vespa, both a genus name and Latin for wasp, and queen. The name Beequeen is derived from the word bee and queen, referring to the fact that only female bees can become the leader of a colony of bees.
