Mismagius (Japanese: ムウマージ Mumage) is a Ghost-type Pokémon.
It evolves from Misdreavus when exposed to a Dusk Stone.
Biology
Physiology
Mismagius is a purple ghost-like Pokémon that has the appearance of wearing a cloak. The pearls of Mismagius's necklace have a slightly elliptical shape to them. It has a round head and a witch's hat. Mismagius has a skinny, red mouth that looks like a "W."

Special abilities
Mismagius has the same abilities as Misdreavus, except Mismagius is more powerful and can now use Magical Leaf, Energy Ball, and Lucky Chant.
Since Mismagius is a fully evolved Pokémon, it is capable of using Hyper Beam and Giga Impact.
Behavior
Mismagius tend to hum incantations that can cause headaches and hallucinations. However, sometimes it hums Lucky Chants instead.

Mismagius made its debut appearance in Malice in Wonderland!.
Mismagius made a second appearance in Arriving in Style! in the Hearthome Collection Contest as one of Cocoa's Pokémon.
Fantina has a Mismagius that she used to battle Zoey's Glameow in Playing The Leveling Field!. It reappeared in Barry's Busting Out All Over! and again in A Shield with a Twist where it was used in the gym battle against Ash.

- In the anime, Mismagius was seen to give everybody nightmares. The only way that a Mismagius can have the move itself in Generation IV is by transferring a Misdreavus which has been tutored the move forward from Generation III.
Origin
Like Murkrow, Mismagius is based off of a witch.
Name origin
Mismagius's name is derived from mischief and magus. Mumage is a portmanteau of the words 夢魔 muma, nightmare, and mage.
