This is a list of all the Pokémon that may be encountered in the Battle Frontier in Pokémon Platinum and Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. These Pokémon are divided into three tiers based on their relative difficulty. The Pokémon Trainers battled will exclusively use Pokémon from one of the tiers. As the player advances his/her streak, higher-tier Trainers will increasingly appear more frequently.
