Last Resort (Japanese: とっておき The Best) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV. It can be upgraded to the special Z-Move Extreme Evoboost by Eevee holding Eevium Z.
Last Resort inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. Last Resort will fail unless the Pokémon has used all of its other moves at least once while on the field. Using a move before switching out and back in does not count towards being able to use Last Resort. Last Resort will fail if it is the only move the user knows, or if the user does not know Last Resort (such as if it is called indirectly).
Generation V onward
Last Resort's power is increased from 130 to 140.
In other games
In Explorers of Time, Darkness and Sky, Last Resort is a move with 30 base power, 7PP and 80% accuracy. The user attacks enemy in front. The move will fail if the user has no moves that are out of PP, and will multiply damage by 1.5x and 2x if 2 or 3 moves are out of PP.
In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the power of the move is increased from its base power (when only one other move has 0 PP) by 50% and 100%, if the user has 2 and 3 other moves with 0 PP respectively.
In Pokémon GO, Last Resort is a Charged Attack that has been available since August 11, 2018.
