Last Resort (Japanese: とっておき The Best) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation IV. It can be upgraded to the special Z-Move Extreme Evoboost by Eevee holding Eevium Z.
Last Resort inflicts damage and has no secondary effect. Last Resort will fail unless the Pokémon has used all of its other moves at least once while on the field. Using a move before switching out and back in does not count towards being able to use Last Resort. Last Resort will fail if it is the only move the user knows, or if the user does not know Last Resort.
Generation V onward
Last Resort's power is increased from 130 to 140.
| This move can be used only after the user has used all the other moves it knows in the battle.
In other games
Last Resort will fail if the user does not have at least one move with no PP. The more moves with no PP, the more powerful it becomes.
|| Inflicts damage on the target, but it won't hit unless the user has a move with 0 PP remaining.
