In Toasty!! Battle Against Toxapex , Sonia was revealed to have found an Expert Belt in Turffield after following the hints she received from a little girl. In Stealth!! Infiltrate the Energy Plant , she was revealed to have given it to Henry , who gave it to his Sirfetch'd , Lancelot , to hold during his Gym battle against Opal .

Expert Belt was introduced as a Pokémon Tool Trainer card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Diamond & Pearl Series (the Japanese DP Era) in the Arceus expansion.
The Pokémon this card is attached to gets +20 HP and that Pokémon's attacks do 20 more damage to the opposing Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). However, when the Pokémon this card is attached to is Knocked Out , the opponent takes 1 more Prize card.
