Trivia

  • Waterfall is one of two HM moves that Pokémon can learn by level-up. The other is Fly.
  • In Generation I, Waterfall was Goldeen and Seaking's signature move. These Pokémon remain the only ones to learn the move by level-up.
  • Waterfall was the first move to gain HM status in a generation after it was introduced, doing so in Generation II.
  • In the short, Pikachu's Vacation, Pikachu and Raichu push their cheeks together and run up a waterfall. While not classified as the move, this is very similar to in-game descriptions of Waterfall.
