Sweet Scent (Japanese: あまいかおり Sweet Scent) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation II. It was TM12 in Generation II.
Sweet Scent lowers the target's evasion by one stage.
Generations III to V
Sweet Scent hits both opponents in a Double Battle. In a Triple Battle, Sweet Scent will only hit opposing adjacent Pokémon.
Sweet Scent lowers the target's evasion by two stages.
Outside of battle
Sweet Scent causes wild Pokémon to appear, provided there are clear weather conditions and the player is standing in an area where wild Pokémon would normally appear. If Repel is in effect, Sweet Scent is prioritized.
In Generation VI, Sweet Scent causes Pokémon in hordes to appear. If there are no horde battles available in the location Sweet Scent is used, a normal wild encounter will be triggered instead.

Outside of battle
- Using Sweet Scent (or honey) inside a shop or Poké Mart in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl may activate a glitch causing the descriptive text of purchasable items to vanish until the player leaves the shop, known as the honey shop glitch.
- Despite its name, it will still attract Pokémon who do not like sweet flavors.
