Steel Wing (Japanese: はがねのつばさ Steel Wing) is a damage-dealing Steel-type move introduced in Generation II. It was TM47 from Generation II to Generation IV. It regained its TM status in Generation VI, albeit as TM51.

Effect

Steel Wing inflicts damage and has a 10% chance of raising the user's Defense by one stage.

Description

Stad2 Strikes the target with stiff wings. Has a one-in-ten chance of raising the user's Defense.
GSC Stiff wings strike the foe.
RSE Strikes the foe with hard wings spread wide.*
Spreads hard-edged wings and slams into the foe.*
FRLG The foe is hit with wings of steel. It may also raise the user’s Defense.
Colo.XD Strikes target with wings. May raise Defense.*
Spreads hard-edged wings and slams into the target.*
DPPtHGSS The foe is hit with wings of steel. It may also raise the user's Defense stat.
BWB2W2 The target is hit with wings of steel. It may also raise the user's Defense stat.
