Smack Down (Japanese: うちおとす Knock Down) is a damage-dealing Rock-type move introduced in Generation V. It is TM23 as of Generation V.
Effect
Smack Down inflicts damage. Smack Down removes the effects of Magnet Rise and Telekinesis. Smack Down makes its target vulnerable to Ground-type moves and Arena Trap even if it is Flying-type or has Levitate. This effect lasts until the affected Pokémon switches out.
This effect does not occur if the target is behind a substitute or is not currently Flying-type (e.g. Roost) or does not currently have Levitate.
Smack Down can hit a target that is using Fly or Bounce and knock it to the ground (canceling the move). It can also hit a Pokémon that is using or is affected by Sky Drop, but can't knock it down. A Pokémon hit with Smack Down can still use Fly or Bounce on subsequent turns.

Dwebble
|
Dwebble opens its mouth and a metallic gold orb of energy that is surrounded in orange energy appears in front of it. Dwebble then fires the orb at the opponent. When the orb hits the opponent, it explodes. If the opponent was in the air when the orb of energy explodes, the opponent shoots straight down to the ground.

Trivia
- Smack Down is the only physical Rock-type move to have 100% accuracy.
- The English name of this move may be an homage to former professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson, who is associated with the coining of the official word smackdown, and shares his ring name, The Rock, with the type of the move.
