Sludge Wave (Japanese: ヘドロウェーブ Sludge Wave) is a damage-dealing Poison-type move introduced in Generation V. It has been TM34 since Generation V.

Effect

Sludge Wave inflicts damage and has a 10% chance of poisoning the target. Sludge Wave will hit all Pokémon in Double Battles and all adjacent Pokémon in triple battles.

Description

Games Description
BWB2W2 It swamps the area around the user with a giant sludge wave. It may also poison those hit.
XY The user strikes everything around it by swamping the area with a giant sludge wave. This may also poison those hit.
