Aura Sphere (Japanese: はどうだん Wave Bomb) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Generation IV
Aura Sphere inflicts damage and is unaffected by modifications to the accuracy stat and evasion stat. It will not hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turn of moves such as Dig, Dive, and Fly.
Generation V
Aura Sphere can hit non-adjacent opponents in Triple Battles.
The user creates a blue ball that homes in on the nearest Pokémon.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Aura Sphere is Lucario's standard Special move. Like most of its moves, Aura Sphere is more powerful if Lucario has taken more damage.
If the opponent runs into Lucario while it is charging the sphere, the opponent also takes damage.

Trivia
- Aura Sphere is closely associated with Lucario, and is one of the games' few connections to the franchise's concept of aura.
- Aura Sphere has the highest base power of all moves that cannot miss.
- Aura Sphere, along with moves with Pulse in their name (Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Heal Pulse, Water Pulse) are the only non-Flying-type moves that can hit a non-adjacent Pokémon. Also, their Japanese names (including Aura Sphere) contain はどう hadō (wave/pulse).
