Mega Kick (Japanese: メガトンキック Megaton Kick) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM05 in Generation I and TM01 in Pokémon Sword and Shield. In Generation II, it was the signature move of Hitmonlee.

It can be thought of as a counterpart to Mega Punch, being the same type and having a similar name.

Effect

In battle

Mega Kick deals damage and has no secondary effect.

Mega Kick can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 4 bonus appeal points if Focus Energy or Mind Reader was used in the previous turn.
