Charles (Japanese: チャールズ Charles), is a biker from Driftveil City.
In the games
Charles asks the player to try a new form of battling. In Pokémon Black, Charles has a rotation battle with the player, while in Pokémon White, he has a triple battle with the player. In both versions, he uses the same team. He is the only character in the games to have the Trainer class Motorcyclist (Japanese: バイクずき Bike Lover).

Charles appeared in BW057. He assumes an alter-ego known as Kaiketsu A☆Gilder to fight crime alongside his Accelgor.
With the help of Ash, Cilan, Iris and Linda, they manage to deafeat the evil Professor Tsuraraa/Freegeman and his henchmen.
Accelgor is Charles's only known Pokémon, it is his companion as an ordinary human, and his sidekick as his alter ego, A☆Gilder. It helps him fight crime in Driftveil City. Accelgor's known moves are Agility, Double Team, Struggle Bug and Swift. | ||

- Charles's alter-ego Kaiketsu A☆Gilder most likely draws inspiration from Kaiketsu Zubat, with certain other aspects, like his A☆Gilder Kick attack, from the titular characters of the Kamen Rider Series. Coincidentally, Zubat's latest appearance was in the fortieth anniversary Kamen Rider film.
