A Gardener (Japanese: にわし Gardener) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation VI. They are depicted as men responsible for hedge trimming. In the Battle Maison, they specialize in Grass- and Bug-type Pokémon. Only three Gardeners outside of the Battle Maison can be battled, and all of them are located at Route 4. Each of these three Gardeners use only Corphish, likely symbolizing hedge trimmers.

- In Pokémon GO, "Gardener" is the name of an achievement medal awarded for catching at least 10 Grass-type Pokémon.
- In Pokémon Champions, the title of "Gardener" is awarded for winning ten battles using Grass-type Pokémon.
