Water Gun (Japanese: みずでっぽう Water Gun) is a damage-dealing Water-type move introduced in Generation I. It is TM12 in Generation I.
Effect
Water Gun inflicts damage and has no secondary effect.
Water Gun can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 4 bonus appeal points if Mud Sport, Rain Dance, or Water Sport was used in the previous turn.

In Pokémon UNITE, Water Gun is Blastoise's and Slowbro's first move
Blastoise starts with the move as Squirtle. The user shoots a jet of water in a straight line; damaging, knocking back, and stunning enemies hit for .5s. Enemies hit are also slowed for 1 second. Upon evolving into Wartortle stage at level 5, it is replaced by either Hydro Pump or Water Spout.
Slowbro starts with the move as Slowpoke. The user fires a stream of water, damaging and slowing enemies hit. This move can be channeled to increase its range and damage. Upon evolving into Slowbro at level 4, it is replaced by either Scald or Surf.
