Trivia

  • Megahorn has the highest base power of all Bug-type moves, excluding Z-Moves, Max Moves, and G-Max Moves.
    • A Savage Spin-Out based on Megahorn has the highest power of all Bug-type moves.
  • In Pokémon Stadium 2, Bugsy erroneously refers to this move as "Megaphone" when his Heracross (present only in Round 2) uses it. This is possibly due to a translation error, as ホーン can mean horn or phone (as an alternate writing of フォーン) in Japanese. This is also why this move was mistranslated as Megaphone in Korean versions prior to Generation IX.
