Scorching Sands (Japanese: ねっさのだいち Hot Sand Terrain) is a damage-dealing Ground-type move introduced during Generation VIII, in The Isle of Armor. It is TM215 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Effect

Scorching Sands inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of burning the target.

Upon execution, Scorching Sands will thaw the user if frozen (even if the move fails to hit the target). Scorching Sands also thaws a frozen target hit by it.

BDSP This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
ZA The user attacks by throwing scorching sand at targets. This may also leave targets with a burn.
Champs Has a 30% chance of burning the target. Cures the user and target of being frozen.
