Trivia
- Juliana is based on the player character of Pokémon Scarlet, as she is a Champion-ranked Trainer, owns Koraidon, wears the Naranja Academy uniform, and is from the same world as the other Paldea characters, excluding Florian.
- Juliana and Florian are the first pair of protagonists who are confirmed to be from different worlds than each other.
- All versions of Juliana use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Florian, Nemona, Penny, Arven, Geeta, Jacq, Clavell (including Clive), Carmine, Kieran, and Perrin.
- In The Bratty Mechanic, it was mentioned that Juliana helped tutor Team Star when they returned to Naranja Academy, like the player can do in the post-game of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Because of this, she was one of the options suggested to be a teacher at Pasio Academy.
- On release, Juliana's Terapagos used Tera Blast as its Terastal move and its sync move, a move it cannot legally learn. These were both changed to Tera Starstorm in version 2.68.0.
- Juliana (Anniversary 2026) & Terapagos are the first Normal-type sync pair to be featured in a sync pair scout with a 1% chance of being recruited. With their release, all 18 types have had a sync pair featured in a sync pair scout with a 1% chance of being recruited.
- Juliana (Anniversary 2026) & Terapagos's Stellar Form's passive skill Shine Back to Zero seems to reference Stellar Form Terapagos's signature Ability Teraform Zero.
Origin
Juliana's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Scarlet. Koraidon is a major character in Pokémon Scarlet, accompanying the player throughout their journey until it finally battles with the player in the game's climax. Koraidon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
Sprigatito is one of the first partner Pokémon of Paldea, which the player receives at the start of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Sprigatito's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
Terapagos is a Pokémon that is caught during the events of The Indigo Disk DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Terapagos's Dex entries come from Pokémon Scarlet.
