Trivia
- In her Sync Pair Story, Iris reveals that she received her Hydreigon from Drayden as a Deino.
- All versions of Iris use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Bianca, Burgh, Elesa, Caitlin, and Alder.
- Iris also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Burgh, Elesa, or Caitlin in the same team.
- Iris and Naganadel were the first Poison-type sync pair to be available exclusively through a limited scout.
- Before version 2.27.0, Iris (Alt.) was known as Iris (Champion). This was most likely changed to avoid confusion with Serena and Calem's new Neo Champion outfits.
Origin
Iris's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black and White. Haxorus is Iris's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Haxorus's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
Iris (Alt.)'s design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Hydreigon is Iris's lead Pokémon during the battle against her at the Pokémon League. Hydreigon's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon White.
Iris is not seen owning a Naganadel outside this game. Naganadel's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
