Battle Countdown
Battle Countdown (Japanese: カウントダウンバトル！ Countdown Battle!)[1] is the name given to limited-time events in Pokémon Masters EX that utilize battles to count down the days until a particular holiday.
During these events, players can take on battles against various Trainers. Each battle is unlocked on a specific day, is only available for the duration of that day, and can only be completed once. Each battle awards 200 Gems upon completion.
Special Event
The first Battle Countdown ran from December 21 to 31, 2025, counting down to the beginning of 2026. This Battle Countdown was classified as a special event[2]. Each battle awarded 200 Gems and 1,000 Co-op Sync Orbs upon completion, for a total of 2,000 Gems available by completing all ten battles.

Run-Up to 6.5 Years
The Run-Up to 6.5 Years (Japanese: 6.5周年前夜祭記念) Battle Countdown ran from February 19 to 28, 2026, counting down to the six-and-a-half year anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX. The first time the player logged in each day, a short story area would play featuring the three Trainers who were opponents in the day's battle, with each trio of Trainers representing a different region. Each story area could only be replayed on the day it first became available. Each battle awarded 200 Gems, 1,000 Co-op Sync Orbs, and 5 Certificates of Excellence upon completion, for a total of 1,800 Gems available by completing all nine battles.
