Pasio Academy (Japanese: パシオアカデミー Pasio Academy) is a project created by Clavell and Lear on the island of Pasio. Its mission is to be a place where people from all over the world can share their knowledge and experiences to help each other grow.
History
The history of Pasio Academy is chronicled in the Academy Founding Chapter. It was founded by Clavell, who had the idea of establishing a school on Pasio as soon as he arrived on the island. He first mentioned the idea to Maxie, who thought it would be nice to have a place to facilitate discussions between the various researchers—current and former—on Pasio. After watching Giacomo help a pair of Team Skull Grunts by sharing his experiences in Team Star, Clavell became determined to make his vision into a reality. Joined by Giacomo and Penny, who believed a school would help people make new friends and find their passions, Clavell proposed the idea to Lear. He gave them permission to found the school and agreed to provide financial backing for the project, but he left the details of its implementation to Clavell and the others.
Clavell designed the school using Paldea's academy as a reference, asking Giacomo to make the school's rules. However, they soon discovered that not many people saw the benefit to having a school on Pasio, causing concern that the school would open without any students. So, the bosses of Team Star did their best to reach out to people and get them excited about the school, emphasizing how their own experiences at Paldea's academy made them realize the value in having a school. Around this time, Eri requested that the school have a gymnasium where people and their Pokémon can go wild.
The next step in creating the school was designing uniforms. Valerie was asked to design the uniforms, but Clavell wanted their design to harmonize with the design of the school, so he asked Burgh and Mina to give their input on the designs as artists. When Atticus and Mela arrived on Pasio, their friends recommended them to help design the uniforms as well, so Atticus provided some designs and Mela provided some artistic input.
The final challenge facing the school's opening was a lack of teachers. Clavell found quite a few people willing to teach at the academy, including Maxie, but not all of them had the qualities he was looking for—the ability to inspire curiosity and tenacity in students. Lear was prepared to hire externally to fill the positions, but Ortega—who despised the idea of using money to solve one's problems—brainstormed with his friends to come up with a way for everyone who wanted to teach on Pasio to have the opportunity. Ortega's proposal was to let the teachers at Pasio Academy be flexible—anyone who wanted to be a teacher could give it a try, people could recommend others to be teachers, and students could choose which teachers they wanted to learn from. This way, teachers would not have to be teachers all the time. Clavell and Lear agreed to the plan, with Penny, Ortega, Atticus, Mela, Eri, and Giacomo becoming the academy's first teachers.

Pasio Academy theme skill. They receive reward bonuses when used in academy events.

These sync pairs were featured in a particular academy event, appearing in associated artwork. Most of them receive a reward bonus in the academy event where they were featured, but not any other academy events.
