Costume event

Costume events[note 1] (Japanese: スペシャルコスイベント Special Costume Event) are a type of story event in Pokémon Masters EX. These events feature special stories with sync pairs in costume.

Poké War Games

This event ran from October 29 to December 10, 2021 and reran from September 8 to October 3, 2022. It was focused on the sync pairs Diantha (Special Costume) & Keldeo, Hilda (Special Costume) & Diancie, Guzma (Special Costume) & Buzzwole, and Jasmine (Special Costume) & Celesteela.

This event featured a main storyline—Poké War Games—which featured all four sync pairs, and sub-story areas for each of the featured sync pairs: Diantha's Battle Prep, Hilda's Battle Prep, Guzma's Battle Prep, and Jasmine's Battle Prep. During the second run, these four sub-story areas were combined into Battle Prep.

Curious Tea Party

This event ran from March 31 to May 4, 2022 and reran from April 22 to May 8, 2023. It was focused on the sync pairs Lillie (Special Costume) & Polteageist, Sonia (Special Costume) & Tsareena, Ingo (Special Costume) & Accelgor, and Emmet (Special Costume) & Escavalier.

This event featured a main storyline—Curious Tea Party—which featured all four sync pairs, and sub-story areas for each of the featured sync pairs: Lillie's Party Prep—An Eye for Beauty, Sonia's Party Prep—The Finest Tea, Ingo's Party Prep—Way of the Butler, and Emmet's Party Prep—Heart and Soul. During the second run, these four sub-story areas were combined into Solving Wonderful Mysteries.

Super Tour Guide Rosa

This event ran from September 15 to October 1, 2022 and reran from September 10 to 24, 2023. It was focused on the sync pairs Rosa & Shaymin and Naomi & Sandslash.

Solve the Case! (Part 1)

This event ran from March 31 to May 2, 2023 and reran from March 9 to 25, 2024. It was focused on the sync pairs Steven & Stoutland and Shauna & Klefki. This event's story was continued in Solve the Case! (Part 2).

Solve the Case! (Part 2)

This event first ran from April 13 to May 2, 2023 and reran from March 11 to 25, 2024. It was focused on the sync pairs Steven & Stoutland, Shauna & Klefki, Zinnia & Thievul, and Lyra & Phanpy. This event's story was a continuation of Solve the Case! (Part 1).

The Power of Dance

This event first ran from March 14 to 31, 2024. It was focused on the sync pairs Adaman (Special Costume) & Ursaluna and Irida (Special Costume) & Zoroark. It also introduced Dahlia as an NPC.

New Heroes Are Born

This event first ran from April 12 to May 17, 2024. It was focused on the sync pairs Barry (Special Costume) & Heracross and Selene (Special Costume) & Scizor.
