Description This member of the Elite Four apparently gained the ability to commune and even converse with ghosts, thanks to her training at Mt. Pyre.

Phoebe (Japanese: フヨウ Fuyou) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Dusclops and its evolved form, Dusknoir. This sync pair was first made available since the game release. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from August 23, 2021.

Phoebe in her Fall 2023 attire forms a sync pair with Cofagrigus. This pair can be obtained through a limited seasonal sync pair scout beginning on October 12, 2023. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released.

Dusclops → Dusknoir

Dusclops can evolve into Dusknoir once it has reached level 30 through its sync pair story Dusclops's Evolution.

Trivia

  • During The Haunted Museum story event, it's revealed that Phoebe's Cofagrigus was originally mistaken for an ancient artifact and brought to be displayed at a new museum on Pasio, until it was identified as a Pokémon and formed a sync pair with Phoebe.
  • All versions of Phoebe use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Morty and Allister.

Origin

Phoebe's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Dusclops is Phoebe's signature Pokémon in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, while Dusknoir serves this role in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Dusclops's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby. Dusknoir's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Platinum.

Phoebe is not seen owning a Cofagrigus outside this game. Cofagrigus's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
