Passive Skills
Paldea Rush Reduces the user's sync move countdown by one the first time it enters a battle each battle. The more allied sync pairs with the Paldea theme you have on your team, the greater the reduction is. (Each additional sync pair increases the reduction by one, and the maximum reduction is three.) The effects do not stack if you have more than one sync pair on your team with passive skills of the same name.

Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness. Applies the Free Move Next effect to the user when its attack move is successful while Rock Damage Field applies to the opponent's field of play.
Sure Hit & Recoil Removal The user's moves never miss. Negates recoil damage when using moves that have the Recoil effect tag.

Trivia

  • Despite Perrin's Growlithe being referred to as male in the core series games, it is female in Pokémon Masters EX. This discrepency does not occur with any other sync pair.
  • All versions of Perrin use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Viola, Adaman, Florian, and Juliana.
    • Perrin also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Adaman, Florian, or Juliana on the same team.
  • The Double Feature EX Fair and Paid-Gem Double Feature Scout ×25 EX Fairs running from May 21 to June 8, 2026 originally used an image of Perrin (Academy) on the banner image instead of the original Perrin. This error was fixed with the v.2.69.0 update and all players received 300 gems as compensation.

Origin

Perrin's design is based on her appearance in The Teal Mask expansion of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Hisuian Growlithe is a Pokémon that Perrin owns and usually keeps outside of its Poké Ball, though she is not seen battling with it in the core series games. Growlithe's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Noctowl is a Pokémon that Perrin uses in the core series games. Noctowl's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
