Coaching (Japanese: コーチング Coaching) is a non-damaging Fighting-type move introduced during Generation VIII, in The Isle of Armor. It is TM213 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Effect

Coaching boosts the Attack and Defense of all allies (but not the user or allies in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move) by one stage each. It bypasses all forms of protection to affect the allies, including Crafty Shield.

If used in a Single Battle or when no ally is present, Coaching will fail.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Coaching cannot be selected in a battle.
