Special Co-op Battle!

A Special Co-op Battle! (Japanese: 特別マルチバトル！ Special Multi Battle!) is a type of special event[1][2] in Pokémon Masters EX celebrating the game's anniversaries. It features a co-op battle that players must complete by teaming up with other players; the "Create Your Own Team" option is unavailable in these events. Players are encouraged to complete the battle daily, with Gems and rare items available as rewards.

4.5 Year Celebration!

The 4.5 Year Celebration! (Japanese: 4.5周年記念！ 4.5 Anniversary!) Special Co-op Battle! ran from February 28 to March 13, 2024, celebrating the four-and-a-half year anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX. Players received 100 Gems and an item as a reward for completing the battle each day. The item rewards included Move Candy Coins of each role, Roll Cake Coins of each role, 5★ Scout Tickets, and 5★ Power-Ups.

The Five-Year Anniversary! (Japanese: 5周年記念！ 5th Anniversary!) Special Co-op Battle! ran from September 2 to 9, 2024, celebrating the five-year anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX. Players received 200 Gems and rare items as a reward for completing the battle each day. Six-Year Anniversary!

The Six-Year Anniversary! (Japanese: 6周年記念！ 6th Anniversary!) Special Co-op Battle! ran from August 28 to September 17, 2025, celebrating the six-year anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX. Unlike previous events, the battle in this event could be challenged an unlimited number of times and did not reset daily. Instead, the rare rewards associated with it were available by completing event missions, and a new mission was unlocked every day from the beginning of the event to September 10. These missions involved completing the battle using sync pairs with specific sync pairs on the team, and the rewards included Move Candy Coins of each role, Roll Cake Coins of each role, and Six-Year Anniversary Scout Tickets. 1,000 Gems were awarded to players who completed at least 6 missions.

In addition, limited-time Gym missions were available for the duration of the event, rewarding players for completing battles in the event a certain number of times. Players could earn Gems by completing solo missions and Gym Scout Tickets C by completing group missions.

Post–6.5 Years Celebration!

The Post–6.5 Years Celebration! (Japanese: 6.5周年後夜祭記念！) Special Co-op Battle! ran from March 19 to 30, 2026, celebrating the six-and-a-half year anniversary of Pokémon Masters EX. This event consisted of two different battles: "Epic Co-op Battle!, which could be challenged an unlimited number of times, and "Daily Epic Co-op Battle!", which reset daily. Completing these battles rewarded players with Proofs of Victory. Event missions and limited-time Gym missions could be completed based on the number of Proofs of Victory players obtained. Mission rewards included a Move Candy Coin and a Roll Cake Coin for each role, a generic Move Candy Coin, Gems, and Gym Scout Tickets B. Proofs of Victory were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.

In addition, a special rally was held wherein all players would receive special rewards when the total number of Proofs of Victory collected by all players reached certain milestones.[3] If all milestones were met, players would receive 30 Certificates of Excellence, 20 5★ Power-Ups, a Fair-Guaranteed Scout Ticket, and 3,000 Gems. According to the update on March 21, 2026, players had obtained 3,009,873 Proofs of Victory in total.[4] By March 23, 2026, players had obtained a total of 11,887,531 Proofs of Victory, so presents were distributed to players beginning on April 1, 2026.[5]
