Blades of the Future (Japanese: 未来を切りひらく力 The Power to Open Up the Future) was a story event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pair Sygna Suit Bede & Iron Valiant.

The "Sygna Suit Bede Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Bede & Iron Valiant for the duration of the event.

During this event, players could earn event points by completing battles. Players received rewards based on the number of points accumulated, including 5★ Scout Tickets, a Sprint Move Candy Coin, a 5★ Power-Up, and medals. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day.

The player could battle using Sygna Suit Bede & Iron Valiant to obtain +0.6× bonus points; Rose & Copperajah, Florian & Miraidon, Wally & Gallade, or Oleana & Garbodor to obtain +0.4× bonus points; and any unlisted sync pairs with the Galar theme skill to obtain +0.2× bonus points.

This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas with one or fewer sync pairs fainting and sync pairs with specific theme skills on the team.

• When Bede starts telling Florian and Wally about his relationship with Chairman Rose, an animation plays where he looks at the watch on his wrist. According to his concept art, this watch was a gift from Rose.
