The Power of Dance (Japanese: 「だんす」の力！ The Power of "Dance"!) was a costume event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pairs Adaman (Special Costume) & Ursaluna and Irida (Special Costume) & Zoroark. It also introduced Dahlia as an NPC.
During this event, players could earn event vouchers from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.
The player could battle using Adaman (Special Costume) & Ursaluna or Irida (Special Costume) & Zoroark to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Tierno & Crawdaunt, Dahlia & Ludicolo, Kiawe & Marowak, Fantina & Mismagius, Akari & Samurott, or Rei & Decidueye to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted Sinnoh sync pairs to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.
This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas with teams using various theme skills, earning medals and other rewards.
In addition, players could earn a medal for completing all the story areas in the event.
First run
The event first ran from March 14 to 31, 2024. The "Adaman Costume Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Adaman (Special Costume) & Ursaluna from the beginning of the event to April 3, 2024, and the "Irida Costume Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Irida (Special Costume) & Zoroark from March 16 to April 3, 2024.
In this run, the type of voucher that players could earn was Event Voucher R. Event mission rewards included medals, Gems, Battle Points, a Support Move Candy Coin, and a Field Move Candy Coin.
Second run
The event reran from May 8 to 25, 2025. The "Double Feature Costume Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Adaman (Special Costume) & Ursaluna and Irida (Special Costume) & Zoroark for the duration of the event.
In this run, the type of voucher that players could earn was Event Voucher B. Event missions were changed to reward only medals and Gems; everything else was the same as the previous run.
