The Electrifying Influencer (Japanese: 電撃のインフルエンサー The Shocking Influencer) was a story event in Pokémon Masters EX. It was focused on the sync pair Iono & Bellibolt.

The "Iono Poké Fair Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Iono & Bellibolt for the duration of the event.

During this event, players could earn Event Vouchers C from battles that could be redeemed in the shop. All battles could be challenged an unlimited number of times except Daily Extreme Battle 1, which could only be challenged once per day. Extra vouchers were automatically exchanged with coins once the event was finished.

The player could battle using Iono & Bellibolt to obtain +0.6× bonus vouchers; Ball Guy & Amoonguss, Raihan & Duraludon, Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom, or Lisia & Altaria to obtain +0.4× bonus vouchers; and any unlisted sync pairs with the Electric, Ninja Family, Researcher, or Cook theme skills to obtain +0.2× bonus vouchers.

This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas with teams using various theme skills, earning medals and other rewards.

In addition, players could earn a medal for completing all the story areas in the event.

To coincide with this event, the music and artwork on the title screen were different than usual. From January 12 to 22, 2023, the title screen artwork depicted Iono & Bellibolt, and the background music was Battle! (Paldea Gym Leader) (Pokémon Masters EX Version). In addition, a special voice-over line of Iono saying "Pokémon Masters EX" would play as soon as the game's logo appeared on the title screen. From January 22 to February 11, 2023, Grusha & Cetitan were added to this title screen artwork, and a special voice-over line of Grusha saying "Pokémon Masters EX" was added to the pool of lines randomly chosen each time the title screen was loaded.

Kukui	So they look different in different places... That reminds me of regional variants!
Iono	Ohhh! I expected no less from Pokémon Professors! Lookin' at things with a scientific eye! If you please, I'mma ask you to give my loyal viewers a quick lesson about regional variants!
Professor Oak	The same Pokémon can have different appearances depending on the region... and sometimes different Pokémon that look alike are classified as the same species! We call those regional variants! This Tauros, for example...

• The Special Skill Feather available in this event applying to Ghost-type sync pairs may be a reference to Iono's Mismagius, which is the Pokémon she Terastallizes in battle during Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
• Grusha makes a cameo in this event as a teaser for him being made playable in the game on January 22, 2024. He can be seen in the background when Ball Guy is introduced in the final story area.
