Psybeam (Japanese: サイケこうせん Psyche-beam) is a Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I that deals a small amount of damage.

Effect
Generation I
Psybeam does damage and has a 9.8% chance of confusing the opponent.
Psybeam can't confuse an opponent that is already confused.
In Stadium, Psybeam can't confuse an opponent that has a Substitute.

Pokémon
Kadabra. Kadabra's eyes glow red. Rainbow colored cirlces are relased and shot towards the foe.
- Used by Sabrina's Kadabra in Haunter Versus Kadabra.
Alakazam. A multicolored beam is released from Alakazam's spoons when they are crossed.
- Used by a giant Alakazam in The Ancient Puzzle of Pokémopolis.
Venonat. A multicolored beam is created from Venonat's eyes.
- Used by Aya's Venonat in The Ninja Poké-Showdown!.
Espeon. The red gem on its head creates a multicolored beam.
- Used by Sakura's Espeon in The Blue Badge of Courage.
Girafarig. A multicolored beam is created between its horns.
- Used by Lisa's Girafarig in Spell of the Unown.
- Used by Lucian's Girafarig in An Elite Meet and Greet!.
Kecleon. The stripes start to glow and get unleashed.
- Used by Madison and Alexa's Reddy and Greeny in The Kecleon Caper.
Mothim. A multicolored beam is created from Mothim's eyes.
