- The most infamous Trainer's Choice incorrectly claims that Arbok evolves into Seviper, while Arbok doesn't evolve at all, and Seviper is the only Pokémon in its evolution chain.
- In both the original and the dub, May mentioned that she used Skitty in the Fallarbor contest, but she actually used Beautifly in the contest in question.
