Ralts is a humanoid Pokémon with a white body. It has thin arms and legs that widen toward the feet. There is a wispy extension trailing off the back of its feet, creating the overall impression of a nightgown or oversized dress. Most of its face is covered by green hair that resembles a bowl cut, but a pair of pinkish red eyes is sometimes visible. There are two flat, red horns on top of its head: a large one toward the front and a smaller one at the back.

Ralts uses the horns to read people and Pokémon's emotions. Warm feelings cause its body to warm as well, but it hides if it senses hostility. If its Trainer is in a cheerful mood, Ralts also becomes cheerful and joyous. It is known to inhabit List of Pokémon by habitat, but it does not normally show itself to humans. However, when it senses happy feelings, it will approach people.

It is known to inhabit List of Pokémon by habitat, but it does not normally show itself to humans. However, when it senses happy feelings, it will approach people. Ralts prefers to hang out with people of cheerful nature more than those with gloomy natures. Regardless, Ralts will show no discrimination to anyone based on age or gender. As mentioned in Sleep, when you see a Ralts smiling in its sleep, that means something good has happened during that day.

However, for most of the Ruby & Sapphire, Rara is with Wally after Ruby was lost in an earthquake that left him under Mr. Briney's care (where he learned of the beautiful Milotic that Feefee eventually evolved into). ===Origin===
Origin
Ralts's appearance seems to be based slightly on that of a young child, following the theory that young children can sense feelings easier and more thoroughly than adults. Its red "horns" also resemble the tips of a heart shape.
Ralts seems to be based on a young child and the concept of empathy. It is common in various forms of media for shy, sensitive characters to be depicted with hair obscuring their eyes, which may explain Ralts's bowl cut hairstyle. The shape of its legs resemble a long dress, and the red horns on its head resemble two halves of a heart shape, which may relate to its ability to sense emotions.

Name origin
Name origin
Ralts may be a partial anagram of astral (as in astral body); its other language names seem to follow this. It may also involve relate, referring to the way Ralts will only relate to kind Trainers. It may also be a play on waltz (a type of dance); Ralts' evolutionary family appears to have several similarities to dancers.
Ralts may be a partial anagram of astral body (relating to its Psychic powers). It may also involve waltz (referring to its dancer-like evolved forms).

Ralts (Japanese: ラルトス Ralts) is a dual-type Psychic/Fairy Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Prior to Generation VI, it was a pure Psychic-type Pokémon.

It evolves into Kirlia starting at level 20, which evolves into Gardevoir starting at level 30 or, if male, Gallade when exposed to a Dawn Stone.

Biology

Ralts's eyes seen from below

Ralts is a humanoid Pokémon with a white body. It has thin arms and legs that widen toward the feet. There is a wispy extension trailing off the back of its feet, creating the overall impression of a nightgown or oversized dress. Most of its face is covered by green hair that resembles a bowl cut, but a pair of pinkish-red eyes is sometimes visible.

It is known to inhabit urban areas, but it does not normally show itself to humans. However, when it senses happy feelings, it will approach people. Ralts prefers to hang out with people of cheerful nature more than those with gloomy natures. Regardless, Ralts will show no discrimination to anyone based on age or gender. As mentioned in Pokémon Sleep, when you see a Ralts smiling in its sleep, that means something good has happened during that day.[1]

Evolution

Ralts evolves into Kirlia, which evolves into either Gardevoir or, if male, Gallade.

Trivia

Origin

Ralts seems to be based on a young child and the concept of empathy. It is common in various forms of media for shy, sensitive characters to be depicted with hair obscuring their eyes, which may explain Ralts's bowl cut hairstyle. The shape of its legs resemble a long dress, and the red horns on its head resemble two halves of a heart, which may relate to its ability to sense emotions.

Name origin

Ralts may be a partial anagram of astral (relating to its Psychic powers). It may also involve waltz (referring to its dancer-like evolved forms).
