Guard Swap (Japanese: ガードスワップ Guard Swap) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation IV. It is TM61 in Generation VIII.
Effect
Guard Swap switches the user's Defense stat stages and Special Defense stat stages with the target's Defense stat stages and Special Defense stat stages. Since this changes stat stages, the stat stages can be passed via Baton Pass.
Guard Swap bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.
If powered up by a Psychium Z into Z-Guard Swap, the user's Speed stat is raised by one stage.
