Renaming files

Hey, I noticed you uploaded a file again saying it was under a wrong name. If you go to a file you've already submitted and towards the bottom of the page it'll say something like "Upload a new version of this file" and you can upload another file (It has to be the same format. ex. can't replace a png with a jpg. Just doesn't work.) and you can also rename it under any name you want. :D Just a little fun fact that could be valuable information for future reference. ^^ Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 09:56, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Archives

If you would like something deleted, placing a {{delete}} tag in the summary will suffice, and an active Administrator will get to it faster. Thanks. Jellotalk 21:40, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Teru-sama

Since you're experiences with playing with glitches in Crystal, can you please check which index numbers of Teru-samas are in the items pocket and which ones are in the key items pocket? If none are in the key items pocket, then that should be removed from the page. --SnorlaxMonster 05:02, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

Linking to files before uploading them

Unfortunately, if you link to a file before you upload it, due to a server synchronization problem, it will appear as a red link on Bulbapedia for several days. Make sure that you upload before linking. --SnorlaxMonster 10:34, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Indigo Plateau Pokémon

I believe that the wild Pokémon should be the same as those found in Cerulean Gym, with the same encounter rates too. Could you please check this? --SnorlaxMonster 03:25, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Gameshark

GameShark codes are known to cause glitches, I wouldn't trust them too much. I remember battling a Fisherman named Gina (a name of one of the Picnickers) when messing with Trainer Battle codes in GSC. Those are GameShark codes for ya - they cause glitches. --Maxim 13:03, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

Sprites

We are actually working on a new spritebox which includes the FRLG backsprites. It won't be implement until all the missing backsprites are uploaded/redirected though, and is temporarily on hold due to the Archives being locked. --SnorlaxMonster 13:59, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Oh...But it's also HG/SS. So far, I couldn't spot difference only between Charizard from DPPt and HGSS... yet it doesn't redirect. From Bulbasaur to Squirtle, other sprites have difference... though some are hard to see (like Squirtle in HGSS - "border" of shell is slightly darker. And I mean so slightly that I need to open them both in Firefox to spot difference). Marked +-+-+ 14:07, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, the template should compensate for HGSS too. When the Archives are opened back up again, you can upload those. --SnorlaxMonster 14:15, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
HG/SS? No way, I barely did something in HG/SS... and the missing are shiny sprites. Emerald and earlier is possible but HG/SS... situation is screwed. ONE badge. >_> Untouched for like few months. D: Marked +-+-+ 14:23, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Veekun lets us use his sprites. So most of the time those can be compared, and uploaded (although the dimensions are usually different to our standard). --SnorlaxMonster 14:29, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Could you just hold off editing the templates to the new names for a bit longer? The reason I haven't changed it yet is that not all the back sprites are done (in particular the shiny emerald sprites are largely not redirected), and if an image is used on a page before it exists, Bulbapedia may cache that it doesn't exist even after it is uploaded and the cahce is purged on both sides, causing a long delay before it shows up. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 05:32, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Food

I asked you not to touch it because I was working on it. I have just finished, just getting a few Japanese names. Please read what I say carefully. --SnorlaxMonster 15:33, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

*facepalm* Gonna upload the pictures of Gummis anyway, unless you have them. Marked +-+-+ 15:39, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Gummis... Oh god. Some of them share colors (at least when looking by eye without anything like Paint or GIMP) - Yellow and Gold; Green and Grass; Royal and Black; White, Steel, Clear and Gray; Sky and Blue... (10 colors) their description is: A food item that somewhat fills the Pokémon's Belly. When given to a rescue team member, it raises the Pokémon's IQ. <type> Pokémon like it best/A food item that permamently increases the IQ of a team member. <type> Pokémon like it most. It also somewhat fills the Pokémon's Belly. Not sure about Wonder and Wander Gummis. Marked +-+-+ 15:54, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Well, I've been using spriters resource, but you can get them from our German friends too. German wiki is probably easiest, since they already match sprite to item. --SnorlaxMonster 16:00, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Meh. They don't have Wander (or Wonder?) Gummi, also it looks that Gummis changed colors in second games since the Black Gummi from Red Rescue Team has other color than the one from German Wiki. My is more blue (from Red Rescue Team), while their is more black-like (probably Time and Darkness onward). Marked +-+-+ 18:38, 18 September 2011 (UTC)

Item categories in Generation I

You mentioned that in Pokémon Stadium, the game distinguishes between key and normal items. I see in the screenshot you provided that HMs are key items and TMs are normal items. I have a question: are the dummied out badges normal items or key items? --SnorlaxMonster 15:50, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Okey... That's strange. Stadium 1 says they are not... (they have quantity and are in white) but Yellow say they are (they do not have quantity). Also, only Boulder and Cascade are usable, other have text which appears when key item can't be used (like using Super Rod not on water). Also, what happened to "no adding trivia, one edit per userpace" stuff? Marked +-+-+ 13:11, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
I would think that they are key items, but Stadium recognizes whether an item is a key item or not using a lookup table, and since they are not intended to be obtained, they are defaulted to normal items. How about the surfboard, "?????"? So only the Boulder and CascadeBadges change the music? Those two rules are now gone (userspace back up to 3/day, trivia can be added). --SnorlaxMonster 05:48, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

8 (DE) sprite

How did you get this? Can you tell me what emulator and what color mode you used when obtaining it? When I caught it, I just got one with a blackout glitch screen, unlike the one you got with a purple one.--×Rsrdaman× 01:58, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

VBA on True Colors (I always have this on), and via Johto guard glitch (Marill) This allows to get many glitches that crash game, or ♀_. with (presumably) looped cry, since you don't encounter them in wild. Marked +-+-+
Ok, I was more wondering what the color setting was in like GBC, SGB, SGB2 color modes. I did pull out my old Gameshark and test it out on my Gameboy, and I did see the result you got. But let me rephrase that, I just encounter all the glitch Pokémon in the wild and screenshot their sprites, even if there in a glitch trainers party. Now im wondering why VBA shows sprites differently. I did notice however the sprite I got was the same as yours but just with a different screen, I'll have to look more into this.--×Rsrdaman× 14:27, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

APNG animations

Hi!

May I know how you manage to hide the first frame of APNG animations for proper viewing in both non-APNG and APNG browsers (where the first, preferably action, frame is shown in the former, and the full animation minus the first frame is shown in the latter) using Anime Maker and GIMP? I have both (GIMP also has the APNG support plug-in), but I don't know how to use the former to hide the first frame of an animation that's been made in Anime Maker. I'm asking this because I want to be prepared for animation jobs that exceed 220 frames, which JAPNG Maker can't satisfactorily handle.

Thanks! Haxorus 04:33, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Scratch the above. I got it. Thanks anyway and enjoy your weekend! :-) Haxorus 10:33, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
Was in the middle of responding and checking Blizzard (inb4 over 2MB despite all optimizing) and you responded, lol. Going to post that anyway. :D Ugh, I am not sure, I did that long ago... I think I now remember. I did an animation then optimized it in Anime Maker, and then used Open to add another frame, the one to be hidden (and not optimized), and move it ALL the way from bottom to top (takes some time :/). Since animation is now optimized, I can use japng-editor to hide first frame (since normally it runs out of memory, probably due to size) and eventually fix the time between frames. Since I only change time and make first frame hidden, file doesn't look strange (dat black squares). With first frame hidden, I save animation and optimize it once again, this time in apngopt, to reduce size even more. Not sure how to do all that in GIMP. Anyway, that way you take lot out of size, though some files will still exceed the 2MB, like Blizzard or Amnesia. Marked +-+-+ 10:40, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Quotes

If there are significant changes between the original pair and the third version or the original games and remakes, it is generally better to give them separate quotes sections. --SnorlaxMonster 11:01, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

Kimono Girls have quotes both GSC and HGSS. I mistook that one section is for both, as it said just Quotes, without splitting further into GSC and HGSS (which was below). I am used to seeing Quotes section, which then splits into eg. RGBY, GSC, FRLG and HGSS, like with Blue. Marked +-+-+ 11:06, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
Have you finished with the Steven quotes? I'll add them if you want. --SnorlaxMonster 10:52, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
Almost. I forgot about Mossdeep Space Center. Marked +-+-+ 10:54, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
Since you mentioned that you were finished on my talk page, the quotes have been added and your now unneeded user subpage deleted. --SnorlaxMonster 11:55, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Zubat and Golbat

Zubat's dex entry: ちょうおんぱを だして まわりの ようすを たしかめながら とぶので りょうめが なくても だいじょうぶ。
Golbat's dex entry: まよなか かっぱつに とびまわり ねらいをつけた えものに キバを さし しぬほど ちを すいまくる。
I believe Zubat's refers to it navigating by ultrasonic waves and so not needing to use its eyes. Golbat's seems to be about it sucking blood in the middle of the night. The mystery location you refer to is the Stranger's House. Bikini Miltank (talk) 17:29, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you. Oh, and it seems that in at least B2W2, NPC's Pokémon's ability can be either, not only first, as on Route 4 Herdier is immune to Sandstorm, therefore has Sand Rush (while it's its second ability)... are you playing game, btw? If yes, and if it's Black 2... well, then try to check Route 4, apparently the street there is different between Black 2 and White 2... in my version the street looks poorly and has sandstorm, while in Black 2 it is supposed to be in better condition. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 17:43, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Your breeder concern

I meant to bring this up before. I know someone who's experienced the same thing, but I think it's uncertain if it is a glitch or a mechanic. I also don't know if it's the same Breeder, but he did say that the trainer in question was a breeder. So! And he's playing Black. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 14:34, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Hidden Hollow Page Question

I know that the Hidden Hollow page is horribly constructed, but I don't know how else to lay it out. Would you have any ideas on how to lay it out better? Do you think there should be three sections for each area (one for Pokémon, another for the items, and the last one for the hidden items)? For example under the section for Route 2 there would be three sections which would be for Pokémon, items, and hidden items. If you think that this layout would be better, would you like me to try that layout on just one area and see if that looks better? Lady Ariel (talk) 18:48, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Pokémon might be leaven as it is, but items and hidden items could be done in the way treasure hunter is on Route 13, with hidden items having grey background or something. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 18:57, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
I have done something similar to the Treasure Hunter items on Route 13. I left the Pokémon and changed the items around. I only changed it with Route 5 that way I wouldn't have to fix all of them again in case I have to change something. Does that look better with that layout and do you think that anything else should be changed? Lady Ariel (talk) 19:19, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
Now it looks better, as it removes the redundancy of items' fields (each Pokémon had both the item and hidden item field, which doesn't made a sense). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 20:34, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
I have fixed everything to the layout I used for the Route 5 section. Could you upload a picture of the outside of a hidden hollow and the inside of a hidden hollow? Could you also upload both of those pictures with the seasonal changes as well and add the switch code to the page for those images? Lady Ariel (talk) 21:29, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Undella Bay Map

If I am reading the Japanese characters on my game correctly Undealla Bay isn't located in the same area on the map as it was in Black and White. Also in Black and White it was on the map where the Marine Tube is now located, but there isn't any locations near where the Marine Tube is located. Could you upload a new map that shows the location of Undella Bay in Black 2 and White 2? Lady Ariel (talk) 17:23, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Route 15

Yes, I'm positive the Black Belt has a level 52 team. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 18:32, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

I did not said that it does not have. It was the Socialite with a Lv. 62 Lopunny, that was easily accessible (and proved to have Pokémon at Lv. 39, much more normal). It's Lv. 52 because you need Waterfall to access it, and by that time you're much more powerful than the rest of Trainers on Route. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 18:35, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
My mistake; the only person you indicated was the Black Belt, so I thought you had typoed '52'. Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 18:40, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Victory Road Map

Could you upload a new map of Victory Road from Black 2 and White 2 since it is in a different location? Also could you upload a new picture of Victory Road from Black 2 and White 2 since the location looks very different? I should also mention that the layout for Victory Road is slightly different between Black 2 and White 2. However the locations of the areas of it are the same, but the path you are forced to go is different. For example in Black 2 you go forword when you first enter, but in White 2 you go to the left. However in Black 2 you don't have to go through the Forest, but in White 2 you have to. However once you exit the forest in White 2 the location of everything else is pretty much the same, with the exeption of the trainers in the first area and the forest. Therefore there might be some trainers that are in Black 2, but not in White 2. Also in Black 2 you have to jump over the ledge on the left, but in White 2 you jump over a ledge in front/north. I don't how this should be noted in the article, but it probably should be noted that after those couple of locations the area is the same. Lady Ariel (talk) 20:12, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

I'll do that in a while, currently progressing through the Victory Road. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 20:15, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Throh in Black 2

I just figured I should mention this on your talk page, that I found a Throh in the Dark and Normal Grass in Black 2. Therefore Sawk must be in rustling Grass in both versions. I don't why they put Throh in Black 2 instead of Sawk, but they might have made a mistake while they were programming Victory Road. Lady Ariel (talk) 18:36, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Sinnoh Template Question

Since you seem to be more familiar with the locations. Do you think the Trophy Garden and/or the Mansion should be listed on the Sinnoh Template for areas since they are similar to the Stranger House in Black 2 and White 2? Lady Ariel (talk) 16:24, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Template:Availability

High use. You need to make sure your edits are going to work before you make them. Five edits in such a short time to a template that's on every species page is bad. The reason it is protected is so that it doesn't get edited that much. If you're not sure your edit is going to work, copy the code to your userspace and test the edit there. Also, in regards to the Japanese Blue entry in it, I deliberately made it only show if it is entered. I did this so that it did not show incorrect info on a large number of pages before the info got added. Please remember to consider the flow on effects of your actions before you make edits to templates. Werdnae (talk) 09:32, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

That was likely due to an edit I made to Magikarp's page eariler. I saw the trivia state that Magikarp is available in every main game, but noticed that the same page said Magikarp were not available in the Japanese version of Pokémon Blue. Thus, I edited the trivia to reflect that, but Marked +-+-+ ended up fixing my mistake. Sorry for any trouble caused to you both. Super goku (talk) 21:12, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Attitude

It would be best if you'd tone down your attitude because you're starting to come off as rather harsh in your edit summaries lately. Typing your messages in all caps makes it come off as though you're shouting, and a number of your messages come off as rather snarky, whether this was your intention or not. So just calm down, please. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 21:13, 30 August 2012 (UTC)

Maps in sandbox

DON'T DELETE ANY LOCATION!!! I know the Nature Sanctuary doesn't appear in your game, but didn't you even search for that location? Yeah, doesn't appear because you still haven't completed the Unova Dex. Pls for future reference try always to be completely sure. TheOriginalOne 16:32, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

Except I went to Nature Sanctuary. And there was NO marker. When you check Town Map, there should be a person-shaped thing showing your current location. When I was at Nature Sanctuary (Give me another place with Nuzleaf and Noctowl in Unova), no place was marked by it. It didn't even appeared in the Pokédex (that part where it shows Pokémon found wild in that place). I even catched the Haxorus. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 18:45, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Maybe because it is depicted mysterious by the game, or something... but whatever, even tought it hasn't got the marker, the only important thing is that the Nature Sanctuary IS there, and that, marked or not, no one can deny it. TheOriginalOne 17:26, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Route 23 for Winter, Spring, and Summer
  • Image for Heart Cave (the correct image over the current image)
  • Image for Join Avenue

Okay. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 12:34, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
The Pokémon event templates have been updated, and the Pokémon pages can be updated to relink to the new event pages and include events that aren't added yet. Bulbasaur is an example of how it should be done. Lady Ariel 19:13, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the help on the Pokémon pages, but I noticed just a few minor problems. Multiple entries for the same event aren't needed, and are combined into one event (for example the English GCEA Staryu would have its Distribution period as November 8 to 14, 2002; December 27, 2002 to January 2, 2003). The second problem is in the Event section of the template, it should have the title (which they do) as well as the name of the Pokémon after the title of the event. Once again, thanks for your help. Lady Ariel 23:10, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
Okay. (though that wouldn't work for some events, like PalCity Mew, as that field would get too big). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 09:18, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
PalCity Mew wouldn't get the entries in one single field, because each Mew had a different move making each one different. If the Pokémon is exactly the same, meaning the same moveset, ID number, OT, nature, etc., it would get one entry. However other events, like Keldeo, will use a generic distribution period instead that is the first date of distribution to the final date of distribution. I hope this would help clear it up some. Lady Ariel 19:10, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

ID Numbers for Generation I

Could you get the ID numbers and OTs of the in-game trades for the Generation I Pokémon and add it to this page? Lady Ariel 21:07, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Some are already here (it's missing Korean and Spanish OTs for Gold/Silver and all but Japanese and English for these Crystal exclusive, though). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 21:11, 21 November 2012 (UTC) Oh wait... Well, maybe. Spanish and other international for Crystal, likely. Korean? Oh dear. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 21:13, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Well all of the event pages are in the process of being reorganized. A few other OTs are missing from Generation II, but all of the OTs from Generation I are missing unless some are the same as the ones from FireRed and LeafGreen. Lady Ariel 21:25, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
By technical terms, there is no OT in Generation I. You always get TRAINER (which will get translated if transfered to game in other language, like Spanish). The ID numbers are also random. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 21:30, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
So the ID number would just be 00000-65535 then, but by the sounds of things the OT is still obtainable it just requires work to get. Lady Ariel 21:54, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
This explains how OT and ID for in-game trades work in Generation I fairly well. --SnorlaxMonster 01:46, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Moves by anime debut

A subpage was already created quite a while ago. What would you like to do? Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:39, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

Dunno. I was basing the stuff of this, if I remember (or similar thing that I remember but couldn't find) that was abandoned. Might use some of this later. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 14:46, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

Careful!

Be careful and aware of what you are actually saying when you type game names. What you wrote here references Pokémon Black and Pokémon White 2, the two games that you can catch Reshiram in. You wanted Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. MaverickNate 16:44, 21 March 2013 (UTC)

Template thingy

What template did you use when you were talking to Schiffy? I know there was the TCPD one. PattyMan 13:50, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Wait, there's a template for that? We have templates for what else? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 15:25, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
I thought that there was a different template than the TPCD one which was why I was wondering (it's not that mandatory to use them). We don't have that many templates for talk page materials. PattyMan 15:33, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

List of Polish themes

Do you mind if I mainspace your page? While it's missing those lyrics from the second and third openings, otherwise it's a fine article and definitely deserving of the mainspace ^^' --ZestyCactus 17:47, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

It's missing also newer (and older) things since it is pretty old, but why not? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 17:56, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
Okay cool I will do it. :) Maybe once it's in the mainspace more people will see it and help contribute the missing information. --ZestyCactus 17:57, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Pokémon Sign hints

Who says those hints, and where? I just want to know so it can be better formatted.Yamitora1 (talk) 03:46, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

If you haven't "captured" signs, they'll be displayed in the PKMN Report. (I haven't got any of the six signs at the moment) Presumably it's Oak's hints, since Mt. Dugtrio mentions going to valley. Oak tells you about signs once you meet him there, and then as far as I remember he tells you that he went to Valley to search for one of them. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 07:14, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
I've actually had plans on redesigning Snap pages. Unfortunately I've neglected to update the articles. I'll possibly get to it soon since it seems people are getting into it. I just don't really want any edits going to waste, cause I've had these new designs in the works for a long while now. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 07:19, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
@Marked If I didn't have unbelievable pictures of some of the Pokémon, and top scores for almost all the courses, I would have restarted the games just so I could have a more fresh, real time knowledge of the game. Its hard since I have a save file that is almost as old as the game. In fact, after 15 years of trying, I finally beaned speed Pikachu in the head just before he re-entered the log. I wasn't even trying, and man did it feel good to accomplish that goal finally.
@Jo Yeah, I recently hooked up my N64 just so I could play it and help the articles which were horribly lacking in info. The Pokémon sections are in such bad shape, that I almost want to vote to do away with them until a new more informative and comprehensive version can be made. They're so 2-dimensional, flat and most of the entries are flawed with incomplete, false or half-truth info.
The goal of the articles are also a little all over the place. I'm not sure if we're suppose to write them like we're describing them from the outside, looking in, or if we're trying to instruct people on game mechanics and howtos. Its like half the info is encyclopedic and could be on Wikipedia (not dishing BP), while the other half is ripped from a walk-through/player's guide. The Pokémon section in particular is bad about this sort of thing. I'm also confused on how to address Todd/the player as well. I know several insistence of Todd has been removed, but I think it should still be noted that the player plays as todd or a character based on him.
I've tried my best to remain neutral and keep the article as encyclopedic as I possibly can, but without a clear direction of where the article is meant to go...I'm kinda steering blind here. I am not the best writer; I speak English as my native tongue, but I can barely do that right, and hell if I can write it. The rules on grammar and all the different words that look, sound and mean the same are like a Pester Ball smacking me upside the head. I think we need to seriously pool together resources, and figure out how to best relay the info that needs to be relayed, how and where. The biggest problem is there are about a dozen or more articles all tied to this game, so organizing a effort to fix it is going be challenging. We should use the main Snap article's talk page as a command center. Yamitora1 (talk) 20:42, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Accumula Town et. al.

Hey, just noticed that people were saying things to me on my talk page. Sorry about that. (-: After spending a few hours hacking around in the game's camera system, I decided it probably doesn't have the orthographic projection mode built-in like the Generation IV games do. I figure the camera system was redesigned for Black and White, as is evident by the changing camera angles on Skyarrow Bridge, Castelia City and Victory Road among others. My second idea was to edit an <removed> to inject my own projection matrix, but that proved fruitless as the game updates the projection matrix every frame. So what I ended up doing was modifying the <removed> source code to always use a particular set of values for the projection matrix, then tweaked the settings until the player character looked identical in ortho mode as it did in perspective mode. I'd love to get this ability into the hands of other capable map makers. Any suggestions? --GuyPerfect (talk) 15:39, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

By suggestions you mean what? Also, avoid talking about these things. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 15:55, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Suggestions for enabling other mappers to make Generation V maps. I suppose in practice it'll boil down to who you know is good for this kind of thing. (-: Also, it's no secret where every screenshot, every animation, every map on Bulbapedia comes from. I condemn piracy as much as the next guy, but we're not going to fool anyone by trying to censor what's out there. If anything, it's foolish to refrain from acknowledging the tools we have at our disposal. After all, without it, we wouldn't have every screenshot, every animation, every map on Bulbapedia. --GuyPerfect (talk) 16:07, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

Japanese for Egg Group

I'm just wondering if you got タマゴグループ from an official source or if you're just guessing at it. タマゴグループ just doesn't quite sound right to me. Tiddlywinks (talk) 09:21, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Pokémon Stadium Gold and Silver's Pokémon Academy (Screenshot). I might have misspelled it, as my PC writes kana differently than the game. (But then again, XP SP3 is newer than the game in question) Eridanus (talk) 09:29, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
It's spelled fine. I guess I'm just wrong in this case. Thanks for the thorough response. ^_^ Tiddlywinks (talk) 09:35, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Parents

So we only link direct parents and we never link chain breeding parents? Isn't that providing limited info? If I can use a Shinx to breed all three Fang moves onto a Mawile, I'd like to know that's an option instead of using three different parents and making it take longer.

Also, I was making another edit that conflicted; there is an appearance problem with Furret under "Slam" that I'm fixing now. CycloneGU (talk) 17:51, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

To be honest, on older movesets' pages, it's very inconsistent. On the most nevest, the most direct parents are listed (as listing all parents would probably make the list too big and probably confusing; and if the page gets too big, it takes forever to load). Eridanus (talk) 17:56, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
Oh, I definitely know pages can take forever (see Headbutt, which I had trouble editing once and proposed a redesign for to reduce the size. Come to think of it, I never followed up on that...CycloneGU (talk) 17:59, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

Pokéblock e-Reader Berries

Can the e-Reader Berries really not be mixed with the Blend Master somehow, or do you just not know what he uses for them? If it's the former, it might be nice to note how they're refused; if the latter, then "N/A" isn't the best way to fill that cell. Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:28, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Blend Master only appears in Emerald, while IIRC e-Reader Berries are RS only. Unless you can magically insert e-Reader Berries into Emerald cartridge, then I can't do much. Upokecenter has information on Japanese ones, by the way .Eridanus (talk) 13:44, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
I see. And contrary to what I would expect, this claims you can't trade them either. Gotcha, thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:54, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Sorry about that

Tried scrolling through recent changes on the mobile browser and accidentally reverted your edit. I really need to be careful with where I attempt to scroll; it's pretty much a downside of using a device with a touchscreen. Anyways, undid that revert. Hopefully this will be the last time I accidentally revert without meaning to. Berrenta (talk) 15:43, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

Sevii Islands sidequest

I noticed you added that you need to complete the "Sevii Islands sidequest" in order to obtain the National Dex in FRLG. Specifically what needs to be completed in order to obtain it? "Sevii Islands sidequest" is very unclear (and could also refer to the sidequest to get the Ruby and Sapphire, although that requires the National Dex to do). --SnorlaxMonster 08:27, 16 December 2014 (UTC)

Once you beat Blaine, Bill asks you whether you want to go to Sevii Islands. If I recall correctly, you need to do that part of the game to qualify for the National Pokédex (otherwise Oak will talk about the exotic locales). Eridanus (talk) 08:31, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I got that part, but what specifically do you need to do there? Rescue Lostelle? --SnorlaxMonster 09:17, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
I don't know, to be honest. >_> When I noticed that, I went through whole sidequest in one go, without checking if National is unlocked midway through. Eridanus (talk) 10:44, 16 December 2014 (UTC)

Fossil Pokemon/trading

I think you should hold off on editing Fossil Pokemon locations. I think maybe you aren't making a useful distinction. You should probably bring it up on a talk page first or ask a staff member. Tiddlywinks (talk) 10:24, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

I am following the pattern that was set earlier. Eridanus (talk) 10:26, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
By which you mean...? Tiddlywinks (talk) 10:28, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
The whole "receive a Fossil held by a traded Pokémon" was there before (for G4 onwards games, since before these were key items), if I recall correctly. Eridanus (talk) 10:30, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't notice. Our Fossil coverage doesn't make it super obvious (to me anyway) who's version-exclusive where and I don't really remember, so it's hard to tell how this has been handled before. I must say I don't really like it. If anything, I think I prefer how Cranidos appears to have been done for HGSS.
I suppose you should do what you're justified in doing then. I suppose I'll try to think on this some more and maybe bring it up somewhere. Tiddlywinks (talk) 10:39, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
Does this mean that Amaura and Tyrunt should be added to the list of revivable Fossil Pokémon in ORAS or not? They cannot be obtained in those games, but should their respective Fossils be traded into the game, they can still be revived. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:02, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
If I may intrude, I like the way Cranidos in HGSS is presented. --SnorlaxMonster 16:32, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Low Kick

I show the Low Kick page as listing 100% accuracy. Is that wrong compared to the games? If so, I have to correct my template and a lot of pages it might now be on. It might differ between XY and ORAS as well.

As for Magic Coat and Magic Room, I may have to make a few correcting entries elsewhere (and to the template), which I'll start doing after I finish with the Totodile family; those move pages do not show the 100% I had, which might be my error or something that was simply updated later (I did the template some time ago). I'll research this further.

I'm going to check too if I have a Pokémon with Low Kick. I'm thinking a Fighting type...and I hope I didn't delete the move on learning something else. CycloneGU (talk) 19:04, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

Mystery Dungeon Traps

Link? glikglak 20:03, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
I found it originally on Game FAQs. I am not sure what's the source on Limestone Cavern and dungeons related to it, though; someone else added that. Eridanus (talk) 08:43, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
Just on a side notice this user added that information. Ask him for source. --Raltseye 09:32, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

Korean name on Dungeon pages

I just noticed that you have added alot of Korean names for these pages and I just wanted to say that when I did that I added a transcription of the name to the right in brackets, you didn't. I don't know which is the preferred way to do it but I think that it should be some kind of transcription or translation there. Just wanted to tell you. --Raltseye 16:00, 25 December 2015 (UTC)

I just typed in the name as it appeared in-game; I don't know Korean enough to do transcription. Eridanus (talk) 10:31, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
I used google translate, not sure if they uses the right transcription method though. We can always have someone in the staff add that since the names in hangul are already there. --Raltseye 18:22, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Evolution

I don't fully understand what you mean with "actually this is more of updating the template so it registers these fields." Lokki (talk) 07:46, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

The images are there, but the template isn't updated to handle difference for Generation 3 core series, since there's almost none in the animations. Eridanus (talk) 13:08, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Math

Yeah i forgot to add "in a row" to the wording. Was doing that in a hurry. So the math is the move has 90% accuracy. The chance of Rollout hitting 2 times in a row is (9/10)^2 or 81%, three times in a row (9/10)^3, etc. SirFinkleBottom 19:24, 14 March 2016 (UTC)

XD images

I saw your comment after you edited the page for Wrap. Just thought I would let you know that Shadow Break needs an image, and most of the other Shadow moves seem to have really low quality images. Lady Ariel 22:26, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Most Shadow moves (technically including Weather Ball) are all animations that are low resolutions so they fit under 2MB. I only uploaded Shadow Shed as it was outright missing. Eridanus (talk) 15:31, 19 May 2016 (UTC)

Heal Bell (and Mystery Dungeon)

Excuse me, but I stumbled across this edit of yours, which, if correct, would be exactly what I'm looking for. The category itself, Soundproof and Heal Bell need some improvement, and if you're sure about that (over what the pages might currently say), I know what it would be. So are you sure? Would save me from testing...

Unrelated, but I remember that you once said you're interested in Mystery Dungeon moves. I'm not sure if you're aware, but I noticed that UPC has some decent details for the older games at least (maybe start here and poke a bit), so I thought I'd let you know. Nescientist (talk) 11:24, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Never mind about sounds, I've figured it out. But have fun with the MD moves! Nescientist (talk) 12:46, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
I am aware of UPC's listing. However, only Rescue Team is given in detail, and it has few oversights (some moves don't have their effects written and Crunch is mistakenly written to cause flinching when it doesn't.) On top of moves, there are also dungeons (which include items, Pokemon, traps, environment "value" (the floor's appearance which influences the terrain moves), and other hidden values like difficulty, which influences mission's rank. On longer dungeons, all these can change as you get deeper into the dungeon, so there's quite the work.). Eridanus (talk) 13:51, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Teleport

I notice you uploaded images of Teleport in Stadium and Stadium 2. How did you get these? Wouldn't the move always fail? Also, I think the failure message in PBR would be worthwhile trivia (I don't know if Colosseum would have a similar message in-battle). --SnorlaxMonster 06:43, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

Stadium games show the animation even if the move has missed or it doesn't work. I am not sure if Colosseum or Battle Revolution have any unused animation for Teleport (which would probably require modifying the game so a different move calls for the animation, if it exists at all). Eridanus (talk) 14:20, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

Contest combinations

Hey there! First of all, let me thank you for adding all these Contest combinations to move pages — it's a bit of info that I had never thought of adding, but now that you've done it, it's clear to me that it's really valuable. Good idea!

Anyway, I'm sorry if this causes some more annoying cleanup work, but I have to ask: is there a particular reason you wrote them all as "Contest Spectaculars combination," plural, rather than "Spectacular"? I'm not too familiar with the ORAS Contests, but everywhere I've read about them on the Web uses "Contest Spectacular" when referring to them in the singular, and I think the phrase "Contest Spectacular(s) combination" should be singular in parallel with "Contest combination" (rather than "Contests combination").

If I'm wrong and "Contest Spectaculars" actually is the singular, my apologies. But I thought I should ask. Thanks, and I await your response! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 19:57, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

I've just realized that Spectacular is the singular and not Spectaculars as I was thinking for some reason. So be free to fix my mistake. Eridanus (talk) 20:26, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
That's what I suspected. I'm about to have to leave for work, but I'll go through and make the corrections in about 8-10 hours if no one else has done it by then. :) Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 20:29, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

Figure origins

Make sure that whatever you post isn't speculation. In other words, the names of attacks and Abilities need to match exactly, or else it doesn't get mentioned. Additionally, we try to order the origins in the order that they are presented on the page, meaning that the Ability origin should be before any of the attack origins, and the attack origins should have the attacks in order from when they first appear in the table. MaverickNate 23:57, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Aipom's Run Off trivia was in the original TFG figure article, so I suggest you remove that, as well. Eridanus (talk) 00:00, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

Undiscovered egg group

Hi, sorry if I ask you, but where did you find the names of the Undiscovered egg group in other languages? I'm an admin of the italian wiki, and I'm searching for the name's evolution in italian; I only know that in the Sun and Moon strategy guide it's called "Sconosciuto" and in Pokémon Stadium 2 "Genere sconosciuto".--Snorlite (talk) 12:53, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

I am fairly sure it was Stadium 2, though I might have written the names wrong. Eridanus (talk) 14:40, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
Pokédex 3D (Pro) says "Non ancora scoperto", which is different again. --SnorlaxMonster 15:41, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, I made confusion with Gender unknown. Undiscovered is "Non ancora scoperto" now, only in Stadium 2 it's "Nessun uovo"; Gender unknown is "Genere sconosciuto" in Stadium 2, but another admin of Central Wiki said me that it's recognised in official guides too (at least the Sun and Moon one) while the page says that exists only in Stadium 2. Could it be possible?--Snorlite (talk) 16:31, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
Update: sorry again, another misunderstanding: it seems that as by now the italian official name for Undiscovered is "Sconosciuto" (after "Nessun uovo" and "Non ancora scoperto"), and for Gender unknown the only source is Stadium 2 and as your page said correctly is "Genere sconosc." or "Genere sconosciuto" in full.--Snorlite (talk) 12:23, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

Duel stuff

Hey Eridanus~

Since the newest Hall (Aquamarine) has a rewards system akin to Gym Events, can I leave you in charge of that? We'll need two columns as well -- one for restrictions, and one for rules. What I'm thinking is eventually there will be multiple Match Campaigns that have restrictions, so what I have currently with the Room Matches might need to be modified quite a bit (or scrapped for something else). Also, not sure if you saw my latest message, but the earliest info that is available in the app to obtain secondary types is the Ground Gym Cup (which impacts Water-type figures as well). Lemme know if there's anything else I can be of assistance! ht14 19:34, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

Event-Only Moves list

Hi! I'm using your list on MasterBraixen's talk page to fill out my own personal chart, the only thing I can see that's off is "Submission Cyndaquil", it that that was an egg move for it in Crystal and it's seemingly not learned by Level-Up either... Did you mean Double-Edge? If so, it does also learn it as a Gen 3 tutor.

Extremely good catch with the Low Kick Ponyta and Lapras Future Sight egg moves, because I totally missed those, as well as the Spite Absol, Charm Ralts and Rollout Skitty. A few of the others I didn't list individually on the talk page because I just linked to the event section because there's sooo many, incl. Wish eggs, the "sport" moves and a good chunk of the XD ones. I couldn't find any of the Charm-getters that actually learn it by the new TM (barring Ralts) which is kind of wild.

If you'd like to see my personal list, it's here: [2]

Thanks for the help -- Guiltysparkzz (talk) 19:12, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

I was thinking of Submission Totodile, typed Cyndaquil instead. Eridanus (talk) 20:56, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Though that might be it! Thanks again! --Guiltysparkzz (talk) 21:03, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

Transfer moves

Hey there, as pointed out here, I think we shouldn't consider Odd Egg Dizzy Punch moves "event"; you can get it with "brand-new copies" (VC) anytime, then transfer. If that makes sense to you as well, I'd appreciate if you changed it back (or am happy to discuss if it doesn't).

As for moves like Lugia's Psycho Boost: I marked XD purification moves as "event" since you need to have more than just a brand-new copy of RSEFRLG. (Oops, I realize that I didn't change all of them to "event" for some reason, there's ~50 where I didn't. I think I'm gonna change them manually!?)

Also, thanks for clarifying the footers, and for finding mistakes like Hitmonlee's Tackle (I manually checked all prevo moves to see if they're "event" or "yes", so that's potentially error-prone). If there's another (fundamental) problem, please let me know. Nescientist (talk) 14:52, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

The Odd Egg Dizzy Punch mons are actually not transferable! Poketransfer won't move them unless you remove Dizzy Punch. -- Guiltysparkzz (talk) 14:58, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
On the first reply - fair enough, I wasn't sure what to make of them, since it was inconsistent. Also yes, there are some where it's not changed (like Baton Pass on Farfetch'd before G8). By the way, these transfer-only moves seem to account for previous form-only moves (like the infamous Wish Chansey); in that case, shouldn't crossgen evos account for games where their base forms exist, like Tangrowth having G1-G3? On the second reply, it might be because their method of obtaining was different in Japanese version (and I don't think there's any replacement on Japanese VC version?) Eridanus (talk) 15:01, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, I made sure all discussion is publicly available and it's not me who does decisions that'll be opposed by a majority.
About Dizzy Punch: great... I spent considerable amount of time for Dizzy Punch only to now realize I should've just deleted it. Yeah, thanks for catching it, will get it fixed/removed.
About prevo moves: initially I thought that species pages across generations (which is what the base data is) capture all moves that Pokémon could've known at any point in time, until I realized that that's not necessarily the case for species that are evolutions of species that existed earlier. Problem is that the template stops at the time of that species' introduction, not the prevo one's (Tangrowth shows IV+, not I+). I think it would need another section (with a "wider" template), but that was just my initial thought. So yeah, if there's a difference between Evolve->Transfer and Transfer->Evolve, that's not included currently. Nescientist (talk) 15:16, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Thank you!

Just wanted to say thanks for uploading the pictures of special PMD floors as well as lots of dungeon-end floors as well. Have a happy Friday! Ben79487 01:07, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

We're still missing some of these from Rescue Team/Explorers, and we haven't started uploading anything from newer games (including the remake). Also can't really upload alternate tilesets for Red/Blue dungeon; in Explorers, they only repeat in Sky-exclusive content (like how Spring Cave reuses tilesets from main story dungeosn) but in Rescue Team it's more comomn; one tileset can be used by multiple dungeons at various parts (for example the Lapis Cave one is also used at one point in Far-off Sea and Wish Cave); the water dungeon are the worst as there's only 3 tilesets they use in total. Eridanus (talk) 07:54, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, I imagine that ripping the stuff out of 3D PMD games would be a nightmare, especially because unlike Gen IV they don't have a built-in orthographic camera that you can hack the game to use (I'm pretty sure that's how they got all of the views of the Gen IV places). I don't know very much about Rescue Team, but Explorers has quite a lot of these special floors (and even more in Sky, too...). Just curious: how did you get them? Did you take multiple screenshots and stitch them together, or go into the game files? Thanks anyway. -- Ben79487 17:31, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
I don't think you even need the orthographic camera, I don't remember Rescue Team or Explorers using any form of pseudo 3D. The maps are from a certain romhacking project that is credited in the file description (at least in some files, will have to recheck everything and add where it's missing). Eridanus (talk) 18:37, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, my bad. Was talking about Gates and onwards that would have problems. Yeah, everything checks out. Thanks for adding, again! -- Ben79487 19:18, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Slumber Trap PSMD Redirect Issue

Hello, apologies for intruding. You seem to have been redirecting the PSMD trap images to have spaces between their different components. However, you made an error in redirecting the Slumber Trap image and then double-redirected it to the one you wanted. This has caused an issue, because now the original (SlumberTrapSMD.png) is broken on every page it was on, rather than actually redirecting. I am not able to fix it, so as the one who broke it, I wish to ask you to fix the redirect from File:SlumberTrapSMD.png to File:Slumber Trap SMD.png. Thank you. - MiraiMeowstic (talk) 07:39, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Anime series sections

Hey, I created a proposal of adding series sections in the articles for Pokémon species. For instance, adding "Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl", "Pokémon the Series: Black & White", etc. sections in Pikachu.

This is being discussed here: Bulbapedia talk:Editor's Hub#Pokémon pages with anime series sections. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 13:34, 9 March 2021 (UTC)

Formula conversions

I noticed you've done a lot formula conversions, some of either lost or will soon lose the ability to be compared to the previous version(s). Just wanted to make you aware that arithmetics work a little differently when constrained by hardware. For example, the fourth root isn't necessarily the square root of the square root, and multiplication isn't quite commutative (such as due to operating on integers, or potential overflows). Whenever I edited formulae in the past, I very deliberately used the proper division sign when I did, rather than a fraction. I'd appreciate if you could (retroactively) make sure that you didn't unintentionally alter any formulae. Thanks.

And when I'm already here, I think I can also explain my OHKO edits. You can either think of move accuracies as "Tackle has 100% accuracy" (A) or "Tackle has 100 accuracy" (B); note that the percantage sign isn't actually being used in-game. That means that, if whatever the accuracy calculation yields is somewhere between 1 and 100, you can add a percantage sign (A) or omit it (B). However, in math a percentage sign reads as "over 100", so if the calculation is in the hundreths already, you need to "artificially" multiply by 100 (either way) to get accuracies in the expected range. (I remember seeing Tiddlywinks explain this way better somewhere a long time ago.) Nescientist (talk) 17:46, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

Fair enough, if you want to fix the formulas back you can do that. Though the % versus 100% is... the pages being inconsistent, because Sheer Cold didn't multiply it by 100%. Eridanus (talk) 18:11, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Ok then, as for where images haven't already been deleted, I can try.
As for Sheer Cold, plug in some levels and you end up at around 50, as should be (same for the other moves' current formulas). Plug in some levels for the GenII thing (without multiplying by 100, that is) and you'll end up 0.50. You should multiply by 100, it's correct. (I mean, you can go ahead and suggest or change something for the better.. but it was correct before your edit, and not after, that's what I'm saying.) Nescientist (talk) 18:56, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Checked the rest of your edits, they should be as correct, or you improved them. Nescientist (talk) 19:22, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

Treecko's Double Kick

Woops, I forgot females cannot pass down moves by breeding to other species outside their evolutionary families. --C.Ezra.Msomething to say? · My work documentation 11:31, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

Well at least Treecko gets the move in the end. I believe Murkrow has an unused Egg Move in USUM, because the only compatible species that learns the move is Vullaby, which is female-only. Eridanus (talk) 11:34, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

Link templates

It's good that you're adding additional info on the FireRed and LeafGreen rematches, but please be aware that you can use link templates to make the links easier to write and not be redirect. For example, {{pkmn}} and {{i}} could useful. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 12:29, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Oh right, these exist. Eridanus (talk) 12:34, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Events

Just wanted to say, the reason the ranger Manaphy Egg counts as an event is because Ranger Net itself is a pseudo-mystery gift function used in the ranger series. Also the Pokémon ranger game card itself is physically limited to 1 Manaphy Egg per Pokémon ranger game cart, to get more than that you physically need a second copy of the game or you have to physically modify the internal game files with illegal 3rd party tools. Lugia/Ho-oh on gamecube are Pokémon that you catch during the story of their respective games and you can just farm more of by starting a new save file, they are no different from any other in-game legendary. 4iamking (talk) 08:54, 1 February 2022 (UTC)

Wally and Super Potions

Does Wally really have 2 Super Potions in Mauville City in Pokemon Emerald? I tested this, and for no reason did he use Super Potions, or is there any special way he uses them?. NeoCrimson (talk) 17:05, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

Apparently that was one of the minor changes between Emerald and RS, whoops. Eridanus (talk) 18:53, 13 March 2022 (UTC)

Edit Attempt

Hello, I was trying to edit a page, Moves not in the Pokémon games/In the TCG/Sword & Shield Series, and in my edit I was trying to remove moves that were already in previous expansions, as is the norm with all the other pages of other TCG Series, but the page blocked my edit with something called "Vandal Filter 2." The notification told me to tell an active administrator of what I'm trying to do with the page. I'm not trying to vandalize the page, and I've already made several contibutions to it. I tried reaching out to another administrator, but I only realized later that the user hasn't been on for a while. Do you know how to allow my edit to go through? Thanks. Dougbro1 (talk) 23:16, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

Never mind, another Admin told me about the issue at hand. Dougbro1 (talk) 01:46, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Gen IX Egg moves

Hi Eridanus, I've noticed you adding onto the breeding tables for Gen IX, thanks, and thanks to everyone else also helping out in that area (it's quite time consuming), I made a section here a while ago regarding parents passing on moves in Scarlet and Violet. I was wondering if you have an opinion? Pikiwyn talk 11:08, 21 September 2023 (UTC)

Need help for editing permission

Good morning (or evening) Eridanus, I was wondering if I would edit List of Pokémon Journeys: The Series episodes and other pages in the near future. This is because of my Twitter confession with another user that made me create how I wanted Journeys titles to be. If you would help me out, it would be much appreciated. Remember that I'm doing these edits for just Twitter purposes and I think these dub titles would be much better than the original dub titles that were announced. Thanks. PokéTrainerProg (talk) 20:34, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

That page has weak protection, so you only need to be autoconfirmed to edit it. --C.Ezra.M (talk) 20:39, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

Ingo & Emmet Multi Train 21st battle

Hi Eridanus,

You edited the pages for Ingo and Emmet a while ago to add Nature and EV info to their teams. In doing so, you changed their team for the 21st consecutive battle on the Multi Train to use Crustle instead of Garbodor, which Storm Aurora found as an error. I'm guessing you meant to copy/paste the info for Ingo's Garbodor instead of his Crustle from his Single Train battle? Can you confirm if that's correct?

Thanks --Apopheniac (talk) 18:03, 2 December 2023 (UTC)

Crispin Freeman

I think the English voice actor for Friede, Crispin Freeman, deserves his own Bulbapedia page (especially since he was one of the adapters for the English dub of the first few seasons of the 4Kids run). MrWii000 (talk) 03:42, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

MD images

Great work with some long overdue Mystery Dungeon Explorers move image. However, I noticed that there's a typo in the image template: there's no empty space in-between the "MD:" part and the game name. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:18, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

Oh, and the words "and" and "Sky" seem to be written together too. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:19, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
I've remembered that I have a save with everything recruited, so might as well put it to use. Also the images do not animate for now, at least for now. That one is a technical issue, cause the template currently puts them to 250px size (as some of the images that others uploaded are way too big, like this one). I'd also replace the ones from Red/Blue Rescue Team with better quality (cause back then I had no idea how to properly capture framerate and had to just eyeball it when stitching together the images), but I don't have access to that game's complete save anymore. Eridanus (talk) 13:55, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
Unfortunate. Well, do the best you can. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:22, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
