Close Combat (Japanese: インファイト Infight) is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Close Combat inflicts damage and then lowers the user's Defense stat and Special Defense stat by one stage each.

Description

Games Description
DPPt The user fights the foe in close without guarding itself. It also cuts the user’s Defense and Sp. Def.
HGSS The user fights the foe up close without guarding itself. It also cuts the user’s Defense and Sp. Def.
BWB2W2 The user fights the target up close without guarding itself. It also cuts the user's Defense and Sp. Def.
XY The user fights the target up close without guarding itself. This also lowers the user's Defense and Sp. Def stats.
PMDTDS Inflicts damage on the target. But it also reduces the user's Defense and Special Defense by 1 level.
