In either later 2017 or early 2018 (can't remember), I restarted this playthrough, with the intent of recreating it as faitfully as possible. In January 2018, after arriving at the Pokémon League, I decided to lay the game down for a bit and do other Pokémon-related stuff. In June 2018, I finally picked the game up again and grinded my team to be ready to take on the Elite Four. However, when I picked the game up on June 10, with the intent of starting my long-overdue Elite Four challenge... the save data was gone. I still don't know how or why. It had just vanished without a trace. My heart and soul were in tatters. Yet another game, with over 30 hours worth of blood, sweat, and tears put into it, all gone.
