===Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer===
Rosa appeared in the Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer, where she joined Scottie and Brock in a journey across Pasio. In a forest, the trio came across Erika, a Beauty, and a Lass; and battled their Vileplume, Lotad, and Whimsicott, respectively. After Brock's Onix was ensnared in Whimsicott's Leech Seed, Rosa ordered her Snivy to free it. Snivy was then injured by Lotad's Energy Ball, but Brock healed it with a Potion. Rosa's group soon came out victorious, after which Erika joined them on their journey.

Description | This high-spirited young lady likes to stand out and has a strong sense of justice. Her dream is to have many battles with Trainers all over the world. |
Rosa (Japanese: メイ Mei) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Snivy and its evolutions, Servine and Serperior. The sync pair is obtained after defeating Rosa during the events of Chapter 1 of the Main Story. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from August 28, 2020, which unlocks Rosa's EX style.
Rosa is also available in her holiday attire partnered alongside Delibird. The pair could be obtained through a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout and was first available on December 12, 2019. This pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX beginning on November 16, 2020.
Rosa is also available in her special costume, partnered alongside Shaymin. The sync pair can be obtained through a limited sync pair scout and was first available on September 15, 2022. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from when the pair was first released.
Rosa also forms a sync pair with her Dewott. This pair can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with Rosa in the Trainer Lodge. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX beginning on March 29, 2023, though this pair lacks an EX style.
Rosa in her Neo Champion attire forms a sync pair with Meloetta, which is capable of changing between its Aria and Pirouette Formes. This pair can be obtained through a Master Fair sync pair scout beginning on December 25, 2023. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released.

Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer
Pokémon
Snivy is Rosa's only known Pokémon. Alongside Scottie's Pikachu and Brock's Onix, it battled Erika's Vileplume, as well as a Beauty's Lotad and a Lass's Whimsicott. After freeing Onix from Whimsicott's Leech Seed, Snivy was injured by Lotad's Energy Ball, but Brock healed it with a Potion.
Snivy's only known move is Leaf Tornado.

Trivia
- Rosa is based on the player character of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, as her mom worked at a Pokémon Center, and she is from the same hometown as Hugh.
- Rosa is the only female protagonist-based Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX who wears her debuting outfit without carrying her accompanying bag or similar accessory.
- When Rosa (Holiday 2019) & Delibird were released, there were two known bugs involving the pair. When Auto Mode was on while Rosa (Holiday 2019) & Delibird were on the team, the move gauge would fill faster than intended. Additionally, when using their All the Presents! move in co-op, the move gauge acceleration effect would not always be applied to the allied field of play. These issues were resolved in version 1.6.0, and all players received 50 non-paid Gems as compensation.[5]
- As revealed in the Trainer Lodge, Rosa wants to become a famous actress at Pokéstar Studios.
- All versions of Rosa use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hilbert, Hilda, Cheren, Bianca, Nate, Hugh, Alder, N, Colress, Brycen-Man, and Bellelba.
- Rosa also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hilbert, Hilda, Cheren, Bianca, Nate, Hugh, N, Colress, Brycen-Man, or Bellelba in the same team.
- She is tied with Nate for the character with the most special voice-over lines, having lines upon teaming up with eleven different Trainers and lines upon winning with ten different Trainers.
- Rosa (Champion) & Meloetta were the first sync pair to have a Sprint EX role.
- During the event A Touching Sepia-Toned Song, Rosa reveals that her Meloetta learned how to use Relic Song at Café Sonata, like how the move is learned in the Unova-based core series games.
Origin
Rosa's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Snivy is one of the first partner Pokémon of Unova in the core series games. As the player's partner in Battle Subway, Servine is Rosa's signature Pokémon if the player chooses Tepig as their first partner Pokémon in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. In addition, Rosa is depicted with a Serperior in the Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 Animated Trailer. Snivy and Serperior's Dex entries come from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, and Servine's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
Dewott is the evolved form of Oshawott, one of the first partner Pokémon of Unova in the core series games. As the player's partner in Battle Subway, Dewott is Rosa's signature Pokémon if the player chooses Snivy as their first partner Pokémon in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Dewott's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
Rosa is not seen to own a Delibird outside this game. Delibird's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Rosa is not seen to own a Shaymin outside this game. Shaymin's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Pearl.
Meloetta is an event-exclusive Mythical Pokémon that was introduced in Generation V, just like Rosa was. Meloetta's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
