Mind Games (Japanese: 攻撃時特防ダウン Special Defense Reduction During Attack) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target, it has a chance of lowering the target's Sp. Def by one stat rank. The skill can range from Mind Games 1 to Mind Games 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Mind Games 9 will always lower the target's Sp. Def. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including 
buddy moves, but not sync moves or 
max moves. It cannot activate after the Pokémon uses a status move.
The skill will act independently of the move's innate chance of lowering the target's Sp. Def (if applicable). If the Pokémon has access to more than one Mind Games skill, each will have a chance of activating independently of each other.
