Trivia
- Sonia shares her Japanese voice actor, Lynn, with her counterpart from the Pokémon: Twilight Wings miniseries.
- All versions of Sonia use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Victor, Gloria, Hop, Nessa, Leon, and Professor Oak.
- Sonia also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Victor, Gloria, Hop, Nessa, or Leon in the same team.
Origin
Sonia's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Yamper is Sonia's only known Pokémon in the core series games. Yamper's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Sonia's Special Costume design is based on the Queen of Hearts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Sonia does not own a Tsareena outside this game. Tsareena's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
