Lady Selphy (Japanese: アキホ Akiho) is a rich girl who debuted in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. She offers expensive items in exchange for showing her Pokémon registered in the player's Pokédex within a limited period of time.
In the games
Selphy lives in a house in Resort Gorgeous. However, her house is empty when the player first arrives, and the player needs to find her in Lost Cave before doing anything else. After finding her, she will fight the player with her two Persian.
After her defeat, she returns to her house, where she and her butler Sebastian (Japanese: セバスチャン Sebastian) live. After that, she will ask the player to show her a specific species of Pokémon. If the player does, she gives an expensive item. However, if the player takes more than 250 steps before showing her the Pokémon, she will be disappointed and ask for a new Pokémon to see. She can ask for any Pokémon registered as seen or caught in the player's Pokédex.

Quotes
- Before battle
- "W-what do you intend to do with me?"
- Being defeated
- "Oh...I was afraid that you meant to harm me."
- After being defeated
- "I am so glad that you happened here. I grew rather bored of walking, and I am feeling fatigued. May I ask you to take me home from here?"
- Upon arrival
- "Thank you. You may go now."
- Upon talking to her in her home
- "Oh? Do I know you from somewhere? Oh, but that doesn't matter. I am exquisitely bored. Please, hear my wish."
- "I wish to see a Pokémon. A darling <Pokémon>. I want to see one right away. Please, make my wish come true."
- If the player takes too long
- "Oh, I'm tired of this. I'm tired of waiting for you. I'll forgive you this time, but please don't fail me next time."
- Upon returning with the specified Pokémon
- "Oh, hello, there. Oh, my gracious. That must be the <Pokémon> you caught for me. Giggle... I see a resemblance to you. Thank you so kindly.
- ... ... ... ... ... ... Is something the matter? You may leave.
- ... ... ... ... ... ... Oh, fine. I understand now. Sebastian! I need you here this instant!"
- Speaking to Sebastian
- "See to it that this person is given a token of appreciation."
