Shadow Ball is a damage-dealing Ghost-type move introduced in the first movie Mewtwo Strikes Back, the move was first introduced in the Generation II video games.

In the anime

Pokémon

Sneasel. Both of its hands turn black. It then puts its hands together and a black ball is formed. The ball is then fired at the opponent.

Persian. Persian opens its mouth and a black ball is created. The ball is then fired at the opponent.

Gengar. Gengar puts its hands together and a black ball is formed. The ball is then fired at the opponent.

Mewtwo. Mewtwo puts its hands together and a black ball is formed. The ball is then fired at the opponent.

Eevee. Eevee opens its mouth and a black ball of energy is formed; when Eevee closes its mouth the ball is released towards the target.

Alakazam. Alakazam crosses its spoons and a black ball forms. The ball is then fired at the opponent when the spoons are seperated.
